BTC has been rejected by both the Ichimoku cloud and the MA 50. Currently, it is moving towards horizontal support. Bulls must defend this horizontal support, as a solid breakout of the Ichimoku cloud would confirm bullish momentum.

The ALTS market cap has pumped from the historical trendline support, with the MA 100 also providing support. The MACD crossover is turning bullish. Currently, the price is within the Ichimoku cloud, indicating indecision.

A breakout above the Ichimoku cloud would strongly confirm bullish momentum, while a rejection would suggest a retest of the historical trendline support.

Exactly 6 months ago, I sent out the first post for Bullpen Brief. My thought process behind it was to share interesting posts from crypto Twitter that others could benefit from instead of stashing them away in a private bookmarks folder. Crypto is a noisy space with a high learning curve and it’s generally hard for people, especially newcomers, to source good information. Even crypto-natives struggle to stay on top of the latest narratives in this space. The brief was, and continues to be, an experiment in exploring the feasibility and scalability of democratizing access to crypto market information.

Since publishing the first brief on October 21, 2023, we’ve gained over 8,500 subscribers and have flagged countless narratives months before they gained mainstream attention. One concrete example of this is the Runes standard, which we first mentioned in our market commentary on November 13, 2023 amidst the spike in ordinals activity at the time. Seemingly nobody was talking about Runes then. 5 months later, it’s emerged as one of the most popular narratives on crypto Twitter.

Runes is just one of many examples that underscore the information asymmetries we have in crypto. Until we close these gaps, retail will not be able to engage with crypto at a meaningful scale. It’s too difficult to get up-to-speed and separate signal from noise. While Bloomberg exists for equities markets with standardized information for publicly tradable stocks, the same can’t be said for crypto markets. The thing that makes this information asymmetry problem especially non-trivial is crypto’s decentralized and permissionless nature. We have been studying this problem space deeply over the past few months, and we have a thesis on how to tackle this in a sophisticated and scalable manner.
