Tucker makes a salient point about the amount of classified documents the government hides from the people and the lack of confidence in our election systems that must be remedied:

How is that a democracy if you don't know what your government is doing and you have know right to know on the basis of totally fraudulent national security claims, it's not a democracy. It's an Oligarchy. I believe in democracy. I think that the people own this country. It's not owned by the richest people. 27 billionaires get to run everything. I don't agree with that. I hate it actually. And they are not even good at it. They are selfish, they are stupid, they are short sighted and they are totally lacking wisdom. That's a betrayal of the core promise of America. At least in Feudalism there was a symbiotic relationship between the lord and the surfs. They each needed each other. The people who run our country do not need labor. The average person has no power. No economic power and when you take away the promise of free elections you don't even have political power. You're vote doesn't even matter. I'm completely opposed to (Trump's indictments)."

Of course, once again written in the finest Orwellian Newspeak according to the typical EU way of working, "freedom" in reality means the exact opposite, namely hard control and paternalism.

"In order to acquire even more power at the expense of the member states, also in terms of media policy, the so-called "European Media Freedom Act" is to be passed in the EU Parliament. It is obvious that this is not a media freedom law, but a media gag law: A centralistic EU media supervisory authority, which will be subordinate to the democratically non-legitimized EU Commission, is to seize media policy with all its might! This poses an enormous threat to the already massively suffering media diversity in Germany! We as AfD work for free media in a free market. The citizen should decide which media he wants to consume. We firmly reject compulsory levies, horrendous subsidies and EU interference in national media jurisdiction in the interests of the citizens!"
