“Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the Earth. He does not faint or grow weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary and young men shall fall exhausted, but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint.”
– Isaiah 40:28–31
For those who follow the Pray the Word.
When we remind ourselves of the character of God, we are led towards trust-filled rest and hope-filled confidence.
The Lord has been encouraging my heart with, specifically over the last couple of weeks, Isaiah 40:28–31. I want to pray specifically, according to Ezekiel 1:31.
Just have in my mind, reading this passage, people who are reading this right now who feel tired in many different ways, amidst this life and work and family and church challenges, whatever it may be.
People who feel exhausted...
Here’s the word of God, Isaiah 40:28. What a picture, especially there at the end of this passage. So from the very beginning, you see a picture of God, the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the Earth who never grows weary. He’s never tired. He’s never exhausted. He is omnipotent, all powerful. Then at the end, as we’re talking about how even the youngest and the healthiest faint and are weary and fall exhausted, but then the picture at the end is people who mount up with wings like eagles, soaring like an eagle. Just get that picture in your mind.
Isaiah 40:31,
Read this word;
They who wait for the Lord shall do all these things. Shall have renewed strength to soar and run and walk. They who wait for the Lord. What an interesting verse. The key to soaring and running and walking is waiting.
I want to encourage you with and pray for you.
Isaiah 40:28–31 Praises God For The Tired And Weak
According to this word, God, we praise you. We praise you together as the everlasting God. You are the creator of the ends of the Earth. As we look around us in the world, we see your handiwork and we praise you for your power and your strength. You never grow faint or weary. In fact, Your understanding is unsearchable, and the beauty of what we’re reading here, we just receive the fact that you don’t keep this power and strength to yourself. You give power to the faint, to the weak you increase strength.
So God, we pray for that. I pray over all who are tired and weak and weary and exhausted in many different ways, for many different reasons. Some just at the end of themselves, God, I just pray this passage over them right now that they would see you on high, just have a grand, glorious view of who you are and they would see that you desire to give them power, that you desire to give them strength, that they can rest trustfully in you.
Here’s your reminder: How someone treats you reflects more about them than it does about you. People’s words and actions are often shaped by their own experiences, insecurities, and struggles. When someone is rude, dismissive, or unkind, it’s rarely about anything you’ve done. It’s a reflection of their own inner world—their unhealed wounds, unspoken fears, or even their inability to manage emotions in a healthy way. Remember, no one can hurt you without first being in a place where they are hurting themselves, whether they realize it or not.
It’s easy to internalize mistreatment, believing that you deserve it or that it says something negative about you. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. You are worthy of respect, kindness, and love, no matter how others choose to show up in your life. Their actions may hurt in the moment, but they don't define your worth. So, next time you encounter negativity, remind yourself: it’s not about you. It’s about where they are in their own journey.
I couldn’t have said it any better
Jesus’ Offer of Peace
Peace isn't dependent on circumstances—it's ours when we surrender to the Lord.
Romans 5:1-11
What gives us peace? Most people would say inner tranquility is dependent upon circumstances—like a solid relationship with a spouse, a well-paying job, or good health. But what happens when a couple fights, the company lays off employees, or sickness saps the body? Then, the serenity we thought we had crumbles, because peace rooted in good situations isn’t really peace at all.
Jesus is the only One who offers a deep, lasting contentment that is unshakeable. However, we cannot experience that genuine sense of calm unless we are living in His will. Submission to the Lord and His plans allows His peace to permeate our life.
When the Holy Spirit lives within us, we can approach each day confidently and serenely, but that happens only through a relationship with the Savior. The apostle Paul explains that to be justified—that is, declared no longer guilty—we must accept the sacrifice Christ made in our place. Justification makes us right with God and opens our hearts to His peace (Rom. 5:1).
If you haven’t yet acknowledged to God that you recognize His Son’s loving sacrifice was made on your behalf, now is the right time to surrender to Him.

Love of Jesus
John 3:9-12
9 As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
11 “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete. 12 This is my commandment: love one another as I love you.
John 3:15-16
15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
In the verses John 3:15-16 we see Gods love for us and when we take a look at the verse above 1 john 3:16 we see how much Jesus loves us and why we should love Him.
1 Corinthians 13:4-10
The Greatest Gift Is Love
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
Know this, Jesus Christ loves you and so do I, Jesus changed my life and I know if you give Him a chance He can change your life also and you will know what true love is and what it really means to be loved
1 JOHN 3:16
By this we know love, because he laid His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren
Spread the Love
