UNITY WEEK
(12 - 17 RABIUL AWWAL)

We in the Islamic Republic have named this week – starting from the 12th of Rabi al-Awwal and lasting until the 17th of Rabi al-Awwal - as #Unity Week. Such naming is not just for the sake of it and it is not a #political and #tactical move either, rather such naming is based on #belief and heart-felt faith.

The #Islamic Republic believes in the necessity of unity in the Islamic #Ummah in the true sense of the word.

This is a heart-felt and deep belief.

Some people think or pretend that this is a political tactic, but this is not the case because it is based on heart-felt faith.

We believe in this and we believe that #Allah the Exalted has asked us to do this.

AWAITING - BUILDING MAHDAVI SOCIETY

We, who are awaiting the #Faraj (relief) and the reappearance of Imam #Mahdi (may our souls be sacrificed for his sake), must work for this cause.

We must work to build a #Mahdavi society [a society that seeks to please and aid Imam Mahdi (aj)].

We need to work on self-development, and we need to bring about #transformations as much as our skills and capabilities allow.

We need to use all our strength and #capacities to bring our surrounding environment as close as possible to a Mahdavi society.

The Holy #Prophet (pbuh) did not choose the Commander of the Faithful based on his own personal calculations even though any individual would be led to the conclusion that #Ali (a.s) was the #logical successor of the Prophet through their own calculations.

GHADIR IS CLEAR & EVIDENT

The issue of #Ghadir is a very important issue in the history of Islam.

First, consider the essence of this #astonishing, important event and this holy statement,
"For whomsoever, I am his #master, Ali is also his master."
This is not something that only the Shi’a have narrated. This event is one of the clear, absolute #truths.

Those who have wanted to find #fault with this event were unable to cast doubt on the origin of this statement. Rather, they resorted to #interpretation, #justification, and explaining the meaning of this sentence.

[GHADIR - DIVINE EID]

Eid al-Ghadir is the eid of #Allah the Great and that it enjoys a status which is higher than all other eids.

What is the reason for this?
Well, in the Holy #Quran there are ayahs which can only be matched with the issue of #Ghadir, not with any other issue.

EID AL ADHA & GHADIR

The second ten days [of Dhul Hijja] is characterized by #Willayat and the issue of al-Ghadir.

There is a narration which says,
“Our invitation to Wilayat resembles no other invitation in significance.”

Of all divine rules, Wilayat enjoys a superior status because it guarantees all other #divine rules.
Well, the al-Ghadir event – that very important event – represents a divine command.

EID AL ADHA - ICON OF SACRIFICE

Prophet Abraham (pbuh), made a sacrifice on Eid al-Adha.
This sacrifice is a symbol for the faithful people who want to tread the path of truth, transcendence and #perfection.

This is impossible without a sacrifice. In fact, all the tests that we go through involves a sacrifice.

Sometimes this involves sacrificing your #life, #wealth, your dear ones or even forgiving an unfair #criticism.

Being tested means going through hardships. This is what a test is.
God does not put us through #divine tests in order to get to know us. Divine tests are in fact a step towards one's #destination.

ISLAMIC MINDSET - IMAM BAQIR'S (A.S) VITAL ROLE

#Cultural struggle means endeavoring to change the culture that rules over people's #minds; thus, they can pave the road for #divine governance and close the road to the #tyrannical governance.

Imam #Baqir (as) initiated this movement. This is what Baqir al-Ilm al-Awwalin means.

He was the one who split open the #Quranic facts and Islamic #knowledge.
