Al-Qassam fighters ambushed a zionist armored force in a tight operation.

Our fighters destroyed two "Namer" personnel carriers with a guerrilla action device and two Al-Yassin 105 shells. Following that, two Merkava tanks were targeted with a ground explosive device and an Al-Yassin 105 shell on George Street near the Tabieen Mosque in eastern Rafah, southern Gaza.

Our fighters spotted helicopter landings for evacuation, and the clashes are still ongoing at this moment.

⭕️ Israeli military correspondent Hallel Bitton Rosen announced that Israel’s response to the massacre at Madal Shams has now been fulfilled with its attack on Beirut, on July 30th. He notes, however, that should Hezbollah respond, Israel is willing to escalate to the point of war.

Hebrew media outlet Yedioth Ahronoth reports that a top official in the ceasefire talks has indicated that the Haniyeh assassination will “complicate” ongoing negotiations.

It is likely that this was a key motivation for the assassination as Haniyeh’s role in Hamas since his exile from gaza has been a mediatory and diplomatic one on behalf of Hamas in Qatar and Iran.

⭕ The IRGC-linked Fars news agency says Ismail Haniyeh was killed by a "projectile from the air" (aka a missile) at around 2:00 a.m. while staying at special residence in Tehran. Haniyeh was in Iran for an inauguration ceremony of the new president.

It says further details are under investigation and will be announced later.
