Today, we celebrated the lunar phase corresponding with Imbolc. We prayed to Brid (Athena, Hestia, Eileithyia), Kronos and Rhea, Artemis, and Zeus and Hera. Beforehand, we initiated a catechumen from Greece into the Temple as a lay member, and afterward the rites, we held a prayer group meeting.

The smell of patchouli, frankincense, myrrh, and vanilla mingling with the damp mountain air this morning was heavenly. Beautiful rite and communal worship, as Hellene, Celt, and Germanic came together as Priest, Initiate, and Laity to adore the Gods and reflect on their virtues as we enter the season of Late Winter.

Who then is the Mother of the Gods? She is the source of the intellectual and creative gods, who in their turn guide the visible gods: she is both the mother and the spouse of mighty Zeus; she came into being next to and together with the great creator; she is in control of every form of life, and the cause of all generation; she easily brings to perfection all things that are made; without pain she brings to birth, and with the father's aid creates all things that are; she is the motherless maiden, enthroned at the side of Zeus, and in very truth is the Mother of all the Gods.

It would be helpful if this poll got shared to get a wider range of input. I'd like to get a better idea of what the Folk of various backgrounds are doing to best move forward in Rune posts. My goal is to assist the Folk generally in understanding and using the Runes correctly in an exoteric manner.
