Dear Kinbaku enthusiasts, 
We are working on our next issue dedicated to „Female Figures of Kinbaku“ - in spirit of gratitude and appreciation for our role models, grandmothers, those who risked their bodies and probably sometimes their life and in any case their reputation to live Kinbaku at those old times. 
We are looking for research and historical investigations - as we know so little about these women who walked the path before us. Do you have any role model from old times who inspired you? Bring it on! 
As always, we welcome hot fiction, poetry, personal and inspirational prose, and drawings. 
Deadline for submissions: 28.02.2025.

In praising our contributors it’s of course important to mention the designer of our current issue @thegeoffreyk !!!
The work process was so inspiring and collaboration felt very steady and involved this time, as we met regularly at different stages of production, to check and plan the content. That also helped us to overcome all the hiccups and challenges.
Thank you Geoffrey for bringing so much of your talent, vision and inspiration into creating another amazing one. It’s our third issue together, definitely not the last one! ?

We are also very excited and proud to present amazing Rüdiger Schestag (IG: @ruedigerschestag ) as a “Featured Artist” in our new issue.
Rüdiger is a trained photographer and lecturer and focuses on analog photography. His studio is located in Berlin. Rüdiger works with wet plate collodion process: very analog, very traditional technique, rarely used these days. His photography feels three-dimensional, they are almost breathing from the pages.. ❤️
The pictures are accompanied by a short text from the artist, sharing about his relationships with Kinbaku and wet plate photography.

We are very honored to have once again work of master Norio Sugiura featured in our magazine, this time his shooting with Natasha.
We had this shooting in 2023 in Tokyo, in his artist studio, very small and intimate setting, and it had a profound impact on her as a model. She writes a story about it that accompanies the photography.
We are very happy and proud this feature could open our new I/24 “metamorphosed” magazine!
