In his Friday prayer sermon in Tehran, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah recounts the pre-Hezbollah era, describing how the meeting between Sayyed Abbas Mousavi and Imam Khomeini marked the beginning of Lebanon’s jihad and resistance.

A small group of Lebanese stood against an army that had not been defeated once by the major Arab armies in the past 50 years. However, years of relentless resistance in Lebanon eventually forced Israel into a withdrawal for the first time, without negotiations or agreements.

TEHRAN—Footage of the conversation between Imam Khamenei with an American diplomat in the US embassy spy den.

Imam Khamenei, who was a MP at the time, visited the diplomats held in the US embassy when it was taken over.

Imam Khamenei asks the American diplomat if they have books to read, access to hygiene facilities, etc.. To which the diplomat confirms they have everything, including washing machines etc.

The American diplomat says his hosts are gracious, but too hospitable-as iranians are-don’t want them to leave, to which Imam Khamenei replies that actually they want you to leave, the entire Iranian nation wants you to leave, but your masters are not willing to do the necessities.
