Those who believe and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah, Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.

Indeed, the righteous will be amid Gardens and springs. ˹It will be said to them,˺ “Enter in peace and security.” We will remove whatever bitterness they had in their hearts. In a friendly manner, they will be on thrones, facing one another. No fatigue will touch them there, nor will they ever be asked to leave. Inform My servants ˹O Prophet˺ that I am truly the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful, and that My torment is indeed the most painful.

Know that the life of this world is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth and children - like the example of a rain whose [resulting] plant growth pleases the tillers; then it dries and you see it turned yellow; then it becomes [scattered] debris. And in the Hereafter is severe punishment and forgiveness from Allah and approval. And what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of delusion.

“What has landed you in Hell?” They will reply, “We were not of those who prayed, nor did we feed the poor. We used to indulge ˹in falsehood˺ along with others, and deny the Day of Judgment, until the inevitable came to us.” So the pleas of intercessors will be of no benefit to them.

Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you?
