Appalachian kids, walking home from school, back to their homes in the hollers.
Celine does a damn good job of explaining the rise of Orthodox Christianity in this post, as this is something I have watched with increasing interest over the last few years. As Heritage Appalachians, you're goddamn right we're superstitious. It is in our very blood and soul. We DO trend toward paranoia, I deal with this every day. I trust very, very FEW people, especially in the racialist cause, the DRRR, whatever you wanna call it. We also have a rich tradition of superstition and folk magic (look up German Braucherei, for just one example, fascinating stuff the Pennsylvania Dutch brought over). Perhaps this is because of our hatred of authority in most all forms, other than a select few we deem worthy of following. A few of my Scottish ancestors were most likely brought over from Ulster, and worked as indentured servants for wealthy Anglo interests. They said fuck this shit and came to the hollers centuries ago, to gain freedom and find a home that was similar to their Old World native lands.
We also display a vicious streak of intense fatalism. Another aspect of the ethnic Appalachian biospirit. This has produced many militaristic and fighting men that ZOG has taken advantage of throughout Amerikwa's history. Sadly, this fatalism can even be subverted into negative nihilism. Just check out the opiate and methamphetamine disaster we see unfolding in Appalachia. Something I have also dealt with firsthand.
I would consider myself a pagan at heart, but will admit I do have a curiosity regarding Orthodoxy. There's a mystique to it, that wasn't present in my Presbyterian upbringing (as most Ulster Scots and their descendants clung to, although many traded that in for more fiery versions of Baptist and Methodism when they settled into Appalachia). I appreciate Celine commenting on this, as it was something me and a few friends had pondered before. Give him a follow... https://t.me/CELINEDBOMBA/193

I think I finally figured out why Orthodoxy is so appealing to Appalachian Dissidents. It's because it appeals to the paranoid nature of the Appalachian man. You may say that's not true, but some of the most suspicious of government, conspiracy theorist,…
We need to revoke Asheville’s “Appalachia” card… Boone you ain’t too far behind yourselves.
A view from Max Patch, on the Appalachian Trail, near Hot Springs, North Carolina.
This is a lick-log. Back in the olden days, farmers in Appalachia would allow their cattle and hogs to roam the mountain and hollers, to fatten them up on acorns, nuts, and variable edibles the woods has to offer. Farmers would brand or notch the livestock’s ears in distinct ways to determine who they belonged to. Farmers would fell a tree, and notch it like the picture above, and place salt in the notches for the cattle and hogs to lick.
When the time comes, we’ll be up every holler, behind every hickory, oak, and black locust. In every laurel thicket, and on every ridge.
Thousands of years from now, historians will speak of the Indo-Appalachians as they speak of the Indo-Europeans today. Storming forth, like an endless avalanche from the mountains. AK-47s in hand, on their 2-stroke Yamaha steeds, ringing in the beginning of a New Dark Age. A modern day Koryos band, terrorizing the flatlands of post- Babylon Amerikwa. This is the vision. This is the DREAM.
MASSIVE thunderstorm hitting the mountains around Greeneville, Tennessee. Greeneville was the home of Andrew Johnson, 17th president of the United States. He is vilified by (((scholars))), so he must’ve been doing something right!!
Floyd Central High School’s baseball field, up in Kentucky. The Green Monster up at Fenway ain’t got shit on this place lol…
