?I started this telegram channel back in July of 2021. It has been almost 3 years since I first started this blog (and vlog when I was in the States).

??‍?Since the end of last year, I have been doing logistics almost every single day. There have been both great and "learning" days which I am grateful for till now. If it weren't for all the struggle and difficulties along the way, I would not have become who I am today. There have been many times when I just wanted to give up on this sphere, especially when sleeping at 4am-5am and having exhausting days. Nevertheless, under the good pressure of my mentor and after getting so many insights into the field, I now can say that I have achieved one of the many goals that I set when I started.

?"I'm a student and I don't have an IELTS certificate. Can I work in logistics companies?"

??‍?‍??This is one of the most frequently asked questions by individuals who are interested in the US logistics industry.

The answer is yes ✅ and no ❌

?Having an IELTS certificate with band scores of 5.5+ is just an unofficial validation for logistics companies to make sure that their would-be employees have good enough English to communicate with drivers, brokerages, insurance and leasing companies and so on.

?However, if these employees do not have any kind of language test certificates but can actually speak and understand English very well (to an extent where he/she has no difficulties understanding both formal and informal English), logistics companies will most likely hire these employees based on other factors as well. For example, an employee's experience, attitude, soft and hard skills, potential, and passion for the job position.

So, the answer is YES if you:

✅ are a student and have a nice English test score
✅ are a student with no English test scores but have a good enough knowledge of English

the answer is no if you are:

❌a student with no IELTS + with no English knowledge.

?‍?One thing I could recommend to the second type of students is showing much passion for the job position and being able to convince the interviewers that they have the potential to excel in the new sphere and bring a positive impact on the company.
