Today, I had the privilege of wishing a happy 98th birthday to R' Dovid Einhorn, an incredible Holocaust survivor. I had the privilege of meeting and interviewing him last year.

His life story is not just a testament to survival but also a beacon of resilience, teaching us the true meaning of bravery in the face of unimaginable adversity.

These remarkable individuals are not just survivors; they are our living treasures, our heroes who have endured and overcome the darkest of times. Their stories and experiences are powerful inspirations for all of us and for generations to come.

It’s our responsibility to keep them close, to honor their legacy, and to carry forward the lessons they’ve imparted. Let’s never forget their sacrifices and continue to hold them in our hearts, celebrating their lives and the wisdom they share.

During a recent visit to Camp Simcha, Meir, who lost his sight following brain surgery, asked me to compose a new song centered on 'seeing the good' in every situation.

Every circumstance presents two perspectives, and it's up to us to consciously embrace the positive one. We are asking for an עין טוב - a good and discerning eye, that seeks out the light in all things.
