The esteemed scholar Ahmad ibn Yahya al-Najmi (رحمه الله) said:

"Loving a man who is neither related to you by kinship nor one of your neighbors with whom you share mutual interests, but rather someone distant from you in location and lineage, yet you hear that he adheres to the Sunnah, and you love him for the sake of Allah—if you reach this level, then you are a believer."

💫WHO IS MOST BENEFICIAL PERSON TO YOU?💫

✏️AL-IMAAM IBNU-L-QAYYIM رحمه الله answers:

✨"The most beneficial person to you is the one who allows you to influence him positively—someone who gives you the opportunity to instill goodness in him or do good deeds towards him.

✨Such a person becomes a valuable aid to you in achieving your own benefit and perfection. In reality, your benefit from him is equal to, if not greater than, his benefit from you.

🚫Conversely, the most harmful person to you is the one who enables you to sin against Allah because of him. Such a person becomes an aid to your harm and deficiency.

➡️ I said:
This beautiful trait is clearly evident in our time among the people of Yemen in general, particularly in the regions liberated from the tyranny of the Houthis, and especially in the Hadhramaut governorate, both its interior and coastal areas. May Allah reward them with the best of rewards.

All praise and thanks are due to Allah:
"And your Lord creates what He wills and chooses; they have no choice. Exalted is Allah and high above what they associate with Him" [Quran 28:68].

The Salafi da'wah in Yemen has become a refuge and support for the people of Sunnah and Jama'ah, despite the enmity of adversaries:
"They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah refuses except to perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it" [Quran 9:32].

This is an ancient and deep-rooted quality among the people of Yemen. In Sahih Muslim, it is narrated:
On the authority of Anas, the people of Yemen came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "Send with us a man to teach us the Sunnah and Islam."

I ask Allah to preserve this blessed da'wah in every place and to grant it acceptance.

The Scholar Sheikh Mohammed bin Ibrahim Aal Sheikh ( رحمه الله) was asked:

▪️Question: What is the ruling on saying that "confidence in oneself is obligatory"?

Answer: Confidence in oneself is neither obligatory nor permissible. In the hadith, it is mentioned:

"ولا تكلني إلى نفسي طرفة عين"

"Do not leave me to myself even for the blink of an eye."

Who would say that confidence in oneself is obligatory? I fear this may be a mistake on your part. I don’t think anyone with sound intellect would say such a thing, let alone a person of knowledge.
