It does not take a village to raise a child.

This is communitarian propaganda.

Raising a healthy child takes a parent (at least one, but ideally two) with strong boundaries, integrity, discernment, and the courage to protect the child from the corruption of the village, thereby imbuing in them groundedness, self-responsibility, and individuation, while remaining part of the world and in right relationship with others.

Authentic community can only arise among humans who are differentiated enough to retain the capacity to think independently of the group.

Regulated midwifery works on exactly the same sentimental principles of coercion, and manipulation, and control, and inverted hierarchies, and normalized abuse as does industrial obstetrics because licensed regulated midwifery is industrial obstetrics.

People assume that becoming a mother automatically reduces a woman's sex drive, kills intimacy, dampens our sexuality, makes us asexual, or that motherhood especially new motherhood and postpartum is somehow neutralizing and a sexually deadening experience. None of this is true.
