PUT A SMILE ON HER FACE
The Prophet (ﷺ) urges men to enjoy women with their crookedness. When she is angry, he should be relaxed. When she gives a long face, he should meet her with a smiling face. Were he to treat her as she treats him, their dispute, disagreement, quarrel, and insult would last for a long time. They may not find someone who gives him a ruling that his divorce is ineffective, so problems will begin.
The rational man can easily put a smile on his wife's face because any good word, especially from her husband, pleases her. Likewise, every bad word makes her angry.

FOCUS ON YOUR OWN FAULTS
Whoever focuses on his own faults instead of others promotes calmness for his body and his heart and never becomes weary, because each time a person comes across a shortcoming in their own character, they care less when they see something similar to that from their brother. Those who concern themselves with their brother's faults cause their hearts to become blind; their bodies become weary and they make excuses for their faults.
The weakest of people is the one who criticizes others due to their faults, and the person who is even weaker than him is the one who criticizes the people for faults that he himself possesses. And whoever criticizes the people is criticized by the people.

A SWORD FROM THE SWORDS OF ALLAH
Abu Huraira said,
"I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a home when the people began to pass by. He would say to me, 'Who is that?' I would respond, 'That is so and so,' until Khalid ibn al-Walid passed by. He said, 'Who is that?' I said, 'Khalid ibn al-Walid.' He said:
A blessed slave of Allah is Khalid ibn al-Walid, a sword from the swords of Allah!'" (Jami At-Tirmidhi, 3846)

THE PIOUS WIFE
The pious wife recognizes the nature of a man and behaves in a manner that brings about love and affection between her and her husband. He is kind to her and cares for her, when he looks at her, she pleases him; he trusts her, respects her and honours her. He is happy to provide for her and loves to return home at the end of the day to be with her and their children because the home is a place of comfort, tranquility, and a refuge from the toil and stresses of the world.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL IN ONE'S EYES
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) reported, the Prophet (ﷺ) said,
"A woman is married for four reasons: for her wealth, for her class, for her beauty or for her piety. Select the pious, may your hand be rubbed in the dust!"
"Select the pious," meaning to look upon her as a prize you want to win. "The pious" meaning the religious one.
One should know that if they follow this advice, this religious woman will turn out to be the most beautiful in one's eyes even if she is only slightly beautiful. Beauty is not the only criterion. Sometimes the woman looks very beautiful, but Allāh makes her look ugly in her husband's view. And he hears people talk about her beauty, but, in fact, she is not beautiful because hearts are controlled by Allāh.

THE MOST COMPLETE PERSON
The most complete person is he who obeys Allāh the most and has the most patience with afflictions. The closer one follows the commands of Allāh and His Messenger, the more his actions agree with what Allāh loves and is pleased with, and the greater his patience is with his pre-decree, the more complete and virtuous he is. One is only as faulty as his abidance by these two.

A RIGHTEOUS ENEMY OR A CORRUPT FRIEND?
Sufyān bin 'Uyainah (رحمه الله) would say:
"For you to have a righteous enemy is better than for you to have a corrupt friend, because the righteous enemy - his Ēmān obstructs him from harming you - or that he should impair upon you that which you dislike, whilst the corrupt friend does not care concerning that which is impaired from you."*

THE MOST NOBLE FORM OF GENEROSITY
I prefer that the wise person feeds people and entertains guests often, because feeding people is one of the most noble forms of generosity and one of the best characteristics of the people of knowledge and piety.
