I'm trapped like a spider,
In an upturned glass,
guarded by demons held in my head.
Waiting for the dark to reign
Enmesh in this life I'm living
By memories, notions,
Life experiences I've been through
Insecurities and doubts
depressed, anxiety deepened.
My body's numb, weary, eyes teary
Like a broken ship, I'm sinking
to insurmountable depths
Thinking it's getting better
Yet seems like running in circles
No matter how hard I try to break free
the spiral gets stronger
I'm only fooling myself
When it seems I'm getting fairer
I find myself again at the starting line

WHAT'S THE USE?

What's the use of seeing another day,
When all you got is trouble
Worries and struggle?
Pointless, depressed , disappointment
Getting harder to breathe
Choked by your own pain
You tell I it will be okay
Isn't all in vain?

Tell me,
What's the use to see another day
when all you see is dark abyss staring at you
Ensnared in a prison of your own making
Feeling restless, wretched, unrest with no rest?
Life just seems grim.
My body's sore and stiff
I think on a whim.

I try and try to ease the pain,
A fallen effort with no gain.
Tired of doing this day after day
Over again and again
I long for some quiet,
just a moment of peace,
Thoughts begin to eat away,
Makes me want to end it today.
