Can we talk about how lovely some people comfort you when you’re down?
I mean people have different ways of expressing care and love, but what a flex to be that emotional intelligent, to know how to handle people perfectly, to know when to give them space, when to talk, what to say, using the right words.

I think everyone should know that feelings have nothing to do with common sense, you don’t get to choose how to feel, and why , you just feel it, don’t brust them off with educational lectures they already know, feelings can only be changed by other feelings, meaningful conversations that makes them feel seen,heard and loved, don’t underestimate their own problems or making them feel guilty about their sadness by comparing it to other people catastrophic problems, (i mean yeah it’s definitely a thing to keep in mind), but just don’t say it in a way that makes them ashamed just because they’re expressing how they feel, and spare us from the whole conversation if you’re not good with words, because you may end up making them feel worse.
there is a lot of things to do to help, trying to make them laugh ( by turning yourself into a clown ) making jokes, hugging them, buying them food they like, taking them out….

I try to memorize the feelings, the quiet contentedness, the laughter, the excitement. the people, their smiles, the way they speak, what makes them laugh. i'm constantly on the cusp of the next part of my life and that's just so.. strange. but it makes it so much easier to find happiness no matter what's happening , simply because i know these are times i'll never be able to live again, and these are people i might not always have, and that makes it so much easier to appreciate everything might miss later.

Even now, all possible feelings do not yet exist. There are still those that lie beyond our capacity and our imagination. From time to time, when a piece of music no one has ever written, or a painting no one has ever painted, or something else impossible to predict, fathom, or yet describe takes place, a new feeling enters the world. And then, for the millionth time in the history of feeling, the heart surges, and absorbs the impact.
