😏 The New Decade of AP exams

As I see around, people are rushing to get their SATs, IELTS, and even trying out new international exams – which is great. More and more people now have the opportunity to prepare for the exams they want.

Shortly, AP has finally made its way to Uzbekistan, specifically to Tashkent. I believe that in the next five years, people will see it as commonly as students taking the SAT all around. Just like how Marstiff once opened SAT academy and now there are plenty of SAT centers, I expect the same to happen with AP centers to grow in number, attracting more students and increasing interest in these exams.

AP tutors are also starting to enter Uzbekistan's market, making it easier for students to get quality preparation.

The advantage of APs is that if you study enough AP courses, you can earn college credits, which means you may be able to skip some university courses and be prepared for the curriculum.

A-levels are expensive (except for PS students), IB isn’t widely available in our country, APs require more subjects to be taken (and can be a bit costly), and the SAT is relatively simple but still enough to get into prestigious schools. So before rushing into APs, I’d suggest focusing on your high-priority exams first.

If you have enough ECs and strong stats, I'd suggest considering studying for APs. But everyone's way and story is different, it's up to you to decide what’s worth your time and effort.

As you remember, I recently told you about a black stripe in my life — the rejection of my U.S. visa for the YYGS program.

But as you see, everything happens for a reason, and now I have received an email confirming that I will spend the next 2 years at a top IB school, InshaAllah.
