With the Eurovision contest around the corner and the recent targeting and backlash against Leilam00n for receiving a cultural prize as an advocate for the Palestinian cause; it has become more important than ever to speak about cultural boycotts. Why are such boycotts important? What are they based on? From which historical examples can we take inspiration?

As with the Samidoun event in February, the police are putting pressure on the venues for today's event with Khaled Barakat. Our comrades are being threatened with dismissal if the event goes ahead. For this reason, we are changing the location of the event.
