A reminder that these are the four judges--Chutkan (Obama, top left), Childs (Biden, top right), Pan (Biden, bottom left) and Henderson (bottom right) responsible for the history-making decision that Trump should face criminal prosecution.

Childs and Pan have barely any appellate court experience, but it doesn't matter. They delivered the goods to the guy who appointed them.

In addition to this fight, Cannon is weighing Smith's requests to keep classified material away from Trump in discovery process under Classified Information Procedures Act.

This statute allows the govt to conceal from defendants sensitive records they are accused of stealing--except the defendant has never been a former president whose administration created the records.

Next week will be interesting...all of this in advance of a planned hearing in Cannon's courtroom on March 1 on status of the case.

Judge Chutkan is to blame for hasty rush to SCOTUS.

Trump's lawyers filed immunity motion on Oct 5. Chutkan didn't issue her order denying the motion until Dec 1--a 2-month delay.

She fast tracked trial date then slow walked decision on most important aspect of the case.
