Maybe we're all just looking for someone who cares enough to try. Someone who has never had the best memory, but remembers the little things about you. Someone who has always been a little shy, but opens up to you. Someone who has never been good at keeping a conversation going, but can't shut up around you. Someone who hates driving on the highway, but spends hours on it to get to you. We're not hoping to change them, we're just hoping to matter enough to them.

I hate that I wasn't enough to make you stay.

It terrifies me to accept that I will never be able to unlove you, I will never be able to forget you. No matter what I say, a piece of me will always wait for you to come back. A piece of me will always hope for a happy ending. A piece of me will always wish it was us in the end. A piece of me will always love you. A piece of my heart will always belong to you.

There are moments in life when we're so overwhelmed, so exhausted, that even the simplest words feel heavy. In those moments, all we want is someone who understands without pressing us to speak. The people who can sit with you in your silence, without needing to know the details, are the ones who know that sometimes, presence alone is the strongest form of support. They offer a quiet assurance that says, "You don't have to explain yourself; I'm here, and I see you"

Some days, I have no idea what I'm doing with my life. Most of my days are spent at home, even though I long for adventure. Some days, I have to force myself to be productive, while on others, I end up doing nothing at all. Some days, I wish I could go back to being a teenager, and on others, I wish I could skip ahead to see how my future will unfold. Some days, I feel like I'm running out of time, while on others, time doesn't seem to move fast enough. I so desperately want to be loved but love now terrifies me. I want to feel safe, but I can't seem to trust anyone enough. I am far from perfect. If you look at me from afar, I may appear to be more cheerful. But the closer you get, the more you'll see my broken pieces. I am getting better but some days I just feel helpless.

Self-love is loving yourself exactly as you'd love the person you.

Sometimes you can go through the same situations over and over again until you finally decide you want to do things differently. Please don't punish yourself for taking your time to figure it all out, and be sure to forgive yourself for the mistakes. you made while you were growing.

You are not hard to handle. You are not hard to love. You are not a burden. You are not a waste of space. Existing can be painful. Living with these thoughts can be draining. You need to remember that your mind is not speaking the truth. You are lovable. You are amazing. You are magical. The darkness inside your mind does not erase the light you carry in your heart.
