On the authority of Anas in a narration ascribed to the Prophet [ﷺ]:

❝There is no slave of Allaah who goes to visit his brother for the sake of Allaah, except that a voice calls out from the sky, ‘You have been good so Paradise has been made pleasurable for you.’ Also Allaah says in His Dominion of the ‘Arsh: ‘He is My slave and was visiting for My sake, so his hospitality is upon Me and I am not pleased with any hospitality other than Paradise.’❞

Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما narrates that Nabi ﷺ said:

“Every religion has its distinct characteristic, and the distinct characteristic of Islam is haya/modesty.’

(Sunan Ibn Majah 4182)

Hafiz Ibn Hajar (rahimahullah):

‘Haya’ in Islam is a characteristic that enables one to abstain from undesirable acts and prevents a person from falling short in fulfilling the rights of others’

(Fathul Bari, Hadith: 9)

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه narrates: Nabee ﷺ said:

"When I was taken on my night journey (Miraaj), I passed by people whose stomachs were like houses, in which there were snakes that could be seen from outside their stomachs.

I said: 'Who are these, O Jibra’eel?’

He ﷺ said: 'They are the ones who consumed Ribaa /Interest."'

Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Amr رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,

“Glad tidings! Glad tidings!
Verily, whoever performs the five daily salaah and avoids major sins, will enter Paradise from whichever gate he wishes.”

(Al-Mu’jam al-Kabir 13/8)

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr رضي الله عنه reported that he heard Rasulullah ﷺ say:

“…I take an oath in that Being in whose control lies the life of Muhammad (ﷺ), the example of a Believer is that of a bee, It eats wholesome, produces wholesome and when it lands on anything, it does not break nor ruin it [i.e., A Believer should be gentle]…”

Sayyiduna Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,

“If there was a river at your door and a person took a bath in it five times a day, would you notice any dirt on him?”

They said, “Not a trace of dirt would be left.”

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “That is the parable of the five daily salaah by which Allah removes sins.”

Sayyiduna Abud Darda رضي الله عنه reports that Nabi ﷺ said:

“Should I not tell you something that is better than (voluntary/optional) Fasting, Salaah and Charity?’

They [The Sahabah] said: ‘Yes.’

He ﷺ said: ‘Reconciling and making peace between people, for spoiling relations is the shaver (shaves/destroys Deen and good).

Aswad رحمه الله تعالى says,

“I asked Sayyidatuna ‘Aaishah رضي الله عنها , ‘What would Nabi ﷺ do in his house?’

She said, ‘He would do household chores, i.e. serve his family. When it was time for Salaah, he would go out for Salaah.”

(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 676)

Recite Surah Kafirun before sleeping, for it is a protection from Shirk (polytheism)

Sayyiduna Abu Sa’id Khudri رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,

"Satan/Shaytaan said: By Your might, O Allah, I will continue to mislead the children of Adam, as long as their souls are in their bodies.

Allah Taàla said: By My Might and Majesty, I will continue to forgive them, as long as they seek My forgiveness.”
