Tom has always wanted to learn how to cook, but he has never been very good at it.

Yesterday, he decided to try making spaghetti for the first time.
He has never cooked pasta before, so he followed a recipe he found online.

Unfortunately, he has forgotten to set a timer, and the pasta has turned out extremely overcooked.

When Tom's friend came over for dinner, he has proudly served the spaghetti,

but as soon as his friend has taken a bite, he has realized something was wrong.

Tom has asked nervously, "How does it taste?"

His friend has replied with a smile, "Well, I've never eaten anything quite like this before!"
