Thanks for the patience as we launch the updated uI and smart contracts! Below are a summary of items in today’s main et update, as well as a general status update.

? Migration to V2

Gora has launched new Validator smart contracts, and we are requested everyone who has previously delegated tokens to migrate to V2. The new upgrades will allow for the growth of Gora network as we continue to grow, and go cross-chain. Ensure to use desktop when migrating -> https://app.goracle.io/validators

? Locked tokens are automatically delegated

Previously, delegating locked tokens to validators required doing so via the validator portal. Under the hood, This functionality was complex, and a bug prevented it working normally for most. To improve the user experience, locked GORA tokens are now automatically counted towards staked amounts, and can be viewed directly in the vesting portal. Furthermore, the adoption incentives (I.e. staking rewards) will be backdated.

? Improving customer service

Due to a large influx of bot-type users creating tickets on discord, results in long response times, nearly a month in some cases, to our valued community members. While the team has now closed over 70% of tickets, we understand there are still those waiting. The Gora team is committed to responding and closing tickets within 2-5 business days, depending on complexity. We sincerely appreciate the patience of the community around this matter.

? Weekly Updates
Every Friday, the Gora team will inform the community in the news-and updates discord channel regarding upcoming changes of new features, and status of in-flight development work.

? KiX Testnet RewardsGora and KiX team will begin the distribution of reward for KiX testers. Eligible users will get an email with a short survey, as well as instruction on how to claim the reward.

We have a lot of upcoming developments and exciting expansions coming up!

But first, we need to ensure any bugs and UI/UX issues are resolved. We do apologize to those who have been facing issues. We are committed to getting all issues resolved before embarking on the upcoming quarter’s ambitious goals.

By the end of this week (August 27th), you can expect the following:

• Delegating Locked tokens is fixed
• All remaining open tickets regarding incentivized testnet rewards will be resolved or closed (excluding new or specific issues)
• Incentivized testnet Rewards claiming will be moved to mainnet for better UI
• Users will be able to claim rewards for delegated tokens , and locked tokens that were unable to be delegated.

On August 31st, we will be releasing our roadmap for the following:

• Full Decentralization plans
• Technical improvements and chain expansions
• Update on Zealy marketing campaigns and rewards

Incentivized Rewards

Over the past few days, Goracle has had over 1200 people claim their rewards through the testnet portal. Here are some Frequently asked questions.

1 - I can’t get the token in my wallet.

Make sure you have algo gas fees, and are opted in to asset called GORA (1138500612)

2 - How do I get the voting multiplier

To get the voting multiplier, you must not claim your gora tokens. If you have claimed your GORA tokens, simply leave them locked in the vesting portal, and delegate your locked tokens to a validator.

3 - I have my GORA tokens. How can I earn rewards

You can either deposit them to a farm in Tinyman dex, or stake them to a validator for consistent rewards.

4 - My GORA tokens in vesting is less than what it’s supposed to be.

In this case, Goracle will ensure the remaining amount is added. This process might take 2-3 days. As long as you have a ticket open in discord, this will be resolved.

5 - I have issues with my KYC, why is my ticket taking so long.

Unfortunately, Goracle has been experiencing a large number of fraudulent accounts opening tickets on discord. This has affected our ability to quickly respond to tickets. Rest assured, we will get to your ticket within the next 2-3 days.

6- I Failed KYC, can I try again?

If KYC failed due to poor images, we will ask the provider to allow a retry. If it failed due to duplicate accounts or forgery, you cannot try again and your ticket will be closed.

7 - Why are there so many tickets open, and people unable to claim their tokens.

Fraudulent accounts will be unable to claim their tokens. Note, this is different than issues with GAS fees or not opting in.

An extremely large number of accounts have been flagged as suspicious. These accounts have been creating numerous tickets, and spamming the general chats about issues claiming. Starting today, Goracle will begin aggressively closing and banning these accounts so we can respond to legitimate users faster. It’s is extremely rare that legitimate users are mis-identified as fraudulent.

?Incentivized Rewards and Delegated Staking Update ?

Why can’t I delegate my locked tokens.

Goracle has determined an issue preventing a large number of users from delegating their locked tokens. The update to this has been made, and the fix is being planned to go live in the next 1-3 days. An announcement will be made once this is ready.

Why can’t I see my rewards staking?

The first reward period for tokens delegated to node runners is Tuesday, August 8th. Rewards for staking during the first month will be 20% APR. Due to the issue with locked tokens being unable to be delegated, all those who delegate their locked tokens once the fix is live will also be credit with the first month’s worth of rewards.

Thanks for the patience, we’re excited to say Incentivized testnet reward distribution has finally begun!

By entering the testnet Portal, you can see how many GORA tokens you have available to claim. If you have completed 4 DAO votes, your rewards should be doubled!

To Claim your rewards:

• Log into the Testnet Portal
• Complete the KYC process
• Ensure your wallet is set to “Mainnet” mode, and press claim
• Tokens will be vested over a period of about 10 days.

As there is a large volume of users claiming, we will provide as much support as necessary. Please keep in mind the folowing points:

• KYC status generally takes a few seconds, but could take several hours (if longer than a day, open a ticket on discord)
• If you have issues with your points, please open a ticket via the discord chat
• If you completed 4 DAO votes, your rewards should show as doubled. If you did not get a chance to vote in 4 (or would like to further double your rewards, you can leave your tokens unclaimed).
