Telegram has achieved profitability for the first time in its 3-year history. The number of Telegram Premium subscribers has tripled, exceeding 12 million.

The first prototypes of a laser for lithography were produced in Moscow.

Lassard Group of Companies has developed an excimer laser, which will become a key element of lithography equipment for the production of chips with design standards up to 65 nm. Deliveries of 130 nm lithographers are scheduled for 2026, and in the future - for 90 nm as well.

The main customer is Mikron, which is interested in scaling up production. At the moment there are only two companies in the world producing such equipment, and Russia may become the third country where production of lasers for lithographs is established.

Excimer lasers are needed to create ultra-precise microchips. They can be used to draw complex microscopic details on silicon wafers, which are then turned into processors and other important elements of electronics.

The Bank of Russia has extended restrictions on the transfer of funds abroad until March 31, 2025. Russian citizens and non-residents from friendly countries will be able to transfer no more than $1 million or the equivalent in another foreign currency to any accounts in foreign banks within a month. Limits on transfers through quick money transfer systems will remain at the level of $10 thousand per month.

Russians have started to choose domestic perfumes. The growth of production of perfumes in Russia for the year (July 2024 to July 2023) amounted to 28.4%.
The market share of domestic producers is currently estimated at 62% and continues to grow - over the year it added 13%. The share of imports is gradually decreasing. Supplies from abroad account for 38% - in July, compared to the same period a year earlier, they decreased by 4%.

In 2024, GDP growth will reach 3.9%. Cumulatively from 2024 to 2027, GDP will grow by 13%.

Nominal GDP will amount to almost 196 trillion rubles in the current year, by 2027 - almost 250 trillion rubles.

By the end of 2024, investments will grow by 7.8%. Next year, investment activity will be at the level of 2%.

The increase in consumer activity is expected against the background of growth in real monetary incomes of the population and low unemployment.

In July this year the inflation rate peaked, in 2025 it is expected to slow down, and in 2026 inflation should reach the target level of 4%.
