if you want to die with the shahadah you have to live by it, and to live by it you have to love it.

if you want to die with the shahadah on your tounge it has to be in your heart first.

If missing a single Fajr prayer has that much grief and sorrow,imagine how would you feel when you’re deep down in the Hellfire and not even your loved ones would care about you.

You will regret going out, watching that video, sending that text. But you will never regret reading that page of the quran, listening to that lecture, praying on time or doing any type of ‘ibadah.

Choose wisely how you spend your time, because only Allāh سبحانه وتعالى knows how much of it you have left.

Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said: The mother of the Qur'ān (al-Fatihah),

its beginning is praise;

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ مَٰلِكِ يَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ
"In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. [All] praise is [due] to Allāh, Lord of the worlds, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful, sovereign of the Day of Recompense."

its middle is Tawhīd;

إِيَّاكَ نَعۡبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسۡتَعِينُ
"It is You we worship and You we ask for help."

and

its end is Du'ā.

ٱهۡدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمَصِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ غَيۡرِ ٱلۡمَغۡضُوبِ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ
"Guide us to the straight path. The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have earned [Your] anger or of those who are astray."

[Jami ar-Rasa’il v. 1, p. 108]

My advice to everyone: set your priorities straight. That car, that trip, those electronics , etc. can all wait. Stop spending your money and save up for ‘Umrah and Madīnah. Truly a trip you will never forget, إن شاء الله.

Shaykh Sulayman al-‘Alwan فك الله أسره was asked: What is the meaning [of the Hadith]: "A man will be a believer in the morning and a كافر in the evening."

He answered: "Meaning, that a man is afflicted with a fitnah that turns him over his heels, and for that from his ﷺ‘s Du'a is:

يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ
Yā Muqallibal-qulūb, thabbit qalbī 'alā dīnik
O turner of hearts, keep my heart firm on Your Deen.

Let's start this channel with a simple quote by Imam Shafi'i رحمه الله:

"If you think knowledge is costly & hard to seek, wait for the consequences of ignorance, you'll have to suffer in multifolds."
