It’s been exactly a week since we received the surprise with new subscribers, most of whom came for the giveaway. While we won’t be launching another giveaway for some time, we plan to continue posting. It seems that making two posts a week works well and is manageable.
Also, it’s been four weeks since the launch of our channel. We’ve managed to put out 11 posts so far, and it seems that our real readers find them helpful, which is really encouraging ?
Going forward, I’d love to hear more about what you’d like us to focus on. So far, our posts have covered topics such as:
- Our encounters with the ultra-wealthy;
- Our observations about certain virtues of wealth;
- Lesser-known facts about well-known ultra-wealthy individuals (e.g., Rockefeller);
- Our informal interests related to wealth (e.g., buying barrels for aging tequila).
How do you treat money?
I often observe a quite fascinating phenomenon: nearly everyone desires more money, yet deep down, many harbor a fear of it or perceive it as a kind of evil.
These attitudes don’t help with wealth-building. Subconsciously, these individuals may often sabotage their own financial success in various ways, without even realizing it.
Sometimes we hear that the wealthy frequently engage in evil acts. However, it seems that money just amplify our qualities. Wealthy individuals do a lot of good too, just like anyone else. Exhibiting both kind and unkind behaviors is human. Money simply magnifies one’s capabilities.
From a technical standpoint, money is one of civilization’s greatest inventions and tools. Speed is so crucial in human life and good money enables fast transactions and saves time, opening room for greater value creation.
Do I think people should have an affection for paper bills with portraits of dead presidents? ?? Of course not. But understanding money and appreciating it as an incredible tool won’t harm. It is one of humanity’s most significant inventions, similar to the wheel.
What people can do to improve their financial situation and that of their families is to build a lasting and healthy relationship with all aspects of life, including money. The best method I know for cultivating healthy relationships is to show appreciation in one way or another. A simple trick is to be helpful to others and to say ‘thank you’ one more time each day. Regarding money, don’t forget to express gratitude every time you give or receive any amount ??
How not to promote telegram channels ???****
This was funny development I didn’t expect. While testing channel promotion strategies in Telegram, I shared the recent giveaway with 5-6 Telegram groups some 8-10 hours ago (didn’t pay) to discover in the morning 900+ new subscribers who came presumably (obviously) for the giveaway.
On one side it might seem nice to wake up now with 1000+ subscribers:
- makes it look solid to those who don’t know (but now you know) ??
- most of the new audience seems to be humans (non-bots);
- I assume, it might be possible to come up with something valuable applying some creativity, now or down the road.
But on the other side:
- most of the new subscribers assumably are not interested in the topic;
- and many even don’t understand English (based on statistics I see);
- I want giveaways to go to people who are actually interested;
- I’d assume it also affects channel statistics etc (but, tbh, not well educated on hows).
And the biggest problem, not sure deleting non-audience subscribers is going to be easy.
If you have any ideas or even general wisdom on how to deal with this, please comment ?
2B or !2B
This giveaway is fun! I think to do it twice a month. One for all members and one only for new members.
Compass Within ?
I was introduced to Marc Benioff a few years ago. Marc comes from a breed of billionaires very dear to my heart. He was mentored by Steve Jobs and is friends with Sadhguru.
Despite being a fantastic salesman, he possesses extraordinary business acumen and intuition. Intuition is something one can develop, and advanced intuition seems to be quite common among the billionaires I’ve encountered.
The way I know for working with intuition starts with asking deep questions about self. Interestingly, answers to such questions are rarely comprehended solely by the mind; they’re usually more of an experiential nature.
For the last 6-7 years, my simple advice to friends who are not sure where to begin is to consider reading a classic called “Autobiography of a Yogi”. It is said that Steve Jobs re-read it every year. I find the book quite provoking and inspiring, and try to visit it often.
And here’s a small piece from Marc for those willing to dig deeper. Have fun! ???
