The Taliban have rejected a demand by U.S. President Donald Trump to return $7 billion worth of U.S. military equipment that was left in Afghanistan during the 2021 U.S. military withdrawal.

? Several TikTok users in the US have noticed "Free Palestine" comments are being removed from the platform for violating community guidelines under the guise of 'Hate speech'.

This comes days after the social media platform was banned in the US and restored hours later, after an executive order by the newly inaugurated President, Donald Trump.

It is suspected that one of the reasons TikTok was banned by the previous administration was that the app was 'overwhelmingly Pro-Palestinian' and spreads 'anti-Israeli propaganda'. However since it has been restored in the US, users have noticed censorship of Palestinian content.

Users from outside of the US have not noticed the same level of censorship.

During his first hours in office, US President Donald Trump signed an executive order cancelling sanctions imposed by the former Biden administration on Israeli settler groups who committed acts of violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

It was narrated by Tamīm al-Dārī رضي الله عنه‎ that the Prophet ﷺ said:

“The first thing for which a person will be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayer. If it is complete, then the voluntary (prayers) will also be recorded for him (as an increase).

If it is not complete then Allāh will say to His angels: ‘Look and see whether you find any voluntary prayers for My slave, and take them to make up what is lacking from his obligatory prayers.’ Then all his deeds will be reckoned in like manner.”

McDonald’s recent sales decline, marking its largest drop in four years, is partly attributed to widespread boycotts sparked by its nvolvement in the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

Activists and pro-Palestinian groups initiated boycotts after McDonald’s Israel franchise provided free meals to Israeli soldiers. This action led to accusations that McDonald’s was complicit in supporting military operations affecting Palestinians, prompting backlash, particularly in Muslim-majority regions and among supporters of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

The effect of these boycotts has been especially noticeable in countries with large Muslim populations, such as France, where McDonald's reported a more substantial impact on sales.
