On October 26th, we crossed that border, that thought that seeks to divide us and keep us distant, arrogating the right to decide who can be saved and who must perish. We brought to where these divisions are enforced  the tight connection between the climate crisis and migrations: as a zombie community, we launch emission bombs that fall like floods and droughts on other countries, while on the other hand migrations are used as a political weapon to justify every racist, securitarian, and ultimately fascist drift.
We discussed about migrants detention centers, police repression at borders and in demonstrations, and Palestine, where the expansion of borders flows in rivers of blood. We did not overlook all the territorial struggles that resemble each other too much between Friuli Venezia Giulia and Slovenia and concern us from both sides of the border. We did not neglect the fundamental problem of the ecological and climate crisis with its global scope.
The march, starting from the Gorizia Center, unfolded among chants and speeches until the San Gabriele border crossing, on the border with Slovenia and the city of Nova Gorica. Here we were ordered to stop it, having not succumbed to the economic and bureaucratic blackmail of the impossible authorizations required by the Municipality of Nova Gorica. After a discussion with the Slovenian Police, we proceeded in a spontaneous procession, as provided for by Slovenian law, with almost unanimous participation. We were instructed to stay on the sidewalk, but this did not stop the procession, which then arrived in the main square of Nova Gorica, Slovenia.
We are very pleased with our journey of convergence, and although there was not the participation that these issues deserve, unfortunately destined to become increasingly relevant, those who were present felt the importance of our message and our action, the crossing of that border. For Climate Justice and the dismantling of every wall.

ABBIAMO INTERROTTO LA FESTA DEL PETROLIO
Abbiamo contestato l’industria dei combustibili fossili a Trieste durante le celebrazioni per i 60 anni della Società Italiana per l’Oleodotto Transalpino (SIOT). Mentre gli invitati d’onore scherzavano su transizione energetica e l’efficienza del petrolio, la SIOT era seria quando dichiarava di voler incrementare il commercio di petrolio attraverso il porto di Trieste.
Oltre a essere una fonte energetica utile a massimizzare i profitti del settore industriale, il petrolio è riconosciuto come una importante causa di guerre, riscaldamento globale e inquinamento degli ecosistemi. Per non parlare e tutte le conseguenze della crisi climatica e sociale che stiamo vivendo.
Troviamo incivile che si festeggi il commercio di petrolio, inneggiando ad un profitto che si fa sulla pelle delle persone.
Per questo siamo entrate in azione oggi: ci ritroverete al corteo transfrontaliero del 26 ottobre a Gorizia: “Climate & Justice know no borders”
