Process of Softening Hard Water

There are actually two types of water:

1. Hard water: The one we use for drinking, and it contains calcium (Ca²⁺) and magnesium (Mg²⁺) ions, which are beneficial for the human body.

2. Soft water: Useful for agriculture as it does not clog water pipes (no scaling issues, unlike hard water). However, it tastes slightly salty.

How can we soften feed or tap water?
- There are various methods, but the one we used was deionization. This involves exchanging cations (positively charged ions), such as magnesium and calcium, with hydrogen (H⁺) ions.

This was one of the most understandable experiments I’ve ever had in chemistry ⚗️🧪

The other three experiments were quite difficult to understand, except for the one on lubricants (yani "moylash" va "uni yopishqoqligi").

Actually, the chemistry is very intriguing to learn. But the problem is that I am toooo lazy to learn it. (There is an exam from chemistry next week - either cook or get cooked)
