Starting from my school days, I wanted somebody to listen to what I was saying. What I mean is I never got a chance to speak up because I was afraid nobody would listen to me. It mainly came from the “psychological bullying” we had in our school.

It’s when you’re discriminated because you don’t have that much money or you don’t fight or you have a big head. I didn’t like school at all and I am thankful that I skipped 10th and 11th grades and focused on my job as a teacher.

But today (Sunday), it felt as if my dreams were coming true. People around me were listening to me. They were paying attention. If they were eating, they asked me to join them. If they were singing, they were forcing me to sing. Perhaps I’m exaggerating, but if you give a homeless man a bowl of soup, it feels like the best meal he has evert eaten.

Basically, I don’t crave attention. I’m used to not getting any attention and I’m okay with it. However, I will remember this day as the day I got the most attention?
