We are pleased to announce that Hyper is migrating to the TON blockchain to avoid the removal of the mini-app from Telegram.

All tokens that were withdrawn to the BASE network can be exchanged for USDC within a week. Additionally, we have returned all the points that you previously withdrew to BASE, and they will be available for withdrawal on the TON blockchain once the integration with the TON blockchain is complete.

Today, Telegram released an update to its Blockchain Guidelines, and Pavel Durov (@durov), who frequently talks about freedoms, simply banned all third-party blockchains except for TON. As is well known, TON has expensive transactions, a very small developer community, and essentially no active projects. Let’s wish Pavel and his team that Apple and Google treat them the same way they are treating TMA developers.

Naturally, TMA developers will have no choice unless these rules are changed. Prohibitive measures won’t generate activity on TON either.
