The Jerusalem Brigade in recent days has been carrying out an operation in Gaza City’s southern neighborhood of Zeitoun, to expand the IDF’s Netzarim Corridor, located just south of it.

According to an initial IDF probe, the reservists reached a building and began to search it.

As four soldiers from the force entered the structure, an explosive device planted on the outer wall of the building exploded.

The blast hurt those standing outside the building, not those inside.

At least four other soldiers were seriously wounded, and another four were moderately hurt, according to the IDF.

The military believes Hamas operatives had set up a camera at the building and then detonated the bomb upon identifying troops in the area.

A barrage of some 20 rockets was fired from Lebanon at the Safed area in northern Israel.

The IDF says some of the rockets were shot down by air defenses, while the rest struck open areas.

No injuries are reported.

So at the same time, Israel was just attacked with rockets from terrorists in Gaza and terrorists in Lebanon.

Firefighters are battling blazes at some 10 locations in the Upper Galilee following Hezbollah's rocket barrage.

The Fire and Rescue Service says it is working to extinguish the fires in fields and other open areas near Mishmar HaYarden, Ayelet HaShahar, and Mahanayim.

No injuries were reported. As a result of the projectiles fired into Israel, multiple fires were ignited in the area and Israel Fire and Rescue Services are currently operating at the scene to extinguish them.

Earlier today (Saturday), an IDF soldier was severely injured and another soldier was lightly injured this morning as a result of a projectile that crossed from Lebanon and fell in the area of Misgav Am.

The soldiers were evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment and their families have been notified.
