The condition of political prisoner, Aisha al-Shater, after spending three years in Sisi’s prisons!

Her health has deteriorated due to medical neglect by the Egyptian authorities. She suffers from aplastic anaemia, a rare and serious condition affecting the blood.

On 1 November 2018, Aisha al-Shater, was arrested along with at least 18 other individuals, including her husband Mohamed Abo Horira and falsely accused of joining a terrorist group.

Before Aisha’s arrest, she spoke out about the victims on human rights violations including enforced disappearance, torture and ill-treatment in places of detention.

The authorities have subjected her to prolonged solitary confinement in a tiny cell with a bad ventilation system. She is held in the cell for more than 23 hours a day, without a bathroom, but only a bucket to use instead, and is only allowed to leave twice a day – for less than 30 minutes – to use the bathroom. Since her detention, the authorities have denied Aisha family visits, and communication with her family and lawyer in prison.

Aisha al-Shater is the daughter of Muslim Brotherhood senior leader Khairat al-Shater. Khairat el-Shater has been imprisoned since July 2013, after the military coup against President Morsi.

*? Uzbek Government’s Draft Law Banning Parents Seeking Islamic Education For Their Children*

The Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis (Supreme Assembly of Uzbekistan) has adopted a draft law to ban parents from seeking Islamic education for their children to prevent them becoming “victims of ideas of religious extremism, separatism and fanaticism.”

The bill states that “the transfer of a child for religious education to unregistered or unlicensed organisations or persons who have no special religious education and who provide religious education without permission from the central governing body of religious organisations in Uzbekistan is prohibited.”

Parents or guardians registering children in “illegal” religious education will be fined the equivalent of up to $270 and repeated offences could result in administrative arrest for up to 15 days.

According to a report in the Turkish daily Türkiye Gazetesi, 4,000 Jews in #Turkey went to fight and participated in the massacre of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, 400 of them coming directly from Turkey and the rest via a third country.

Of the 4,000 Turkish Zionists in Gaza, 65 were killed and 110 wounded.

A bill has been submitted to the Turkish parliament by the Turkish Sunni Kurdish party HÜDA-PAR, proposing to revoke the Turkish citizenship of all Jews who went to Israel to fight in the war.
