Лии Гуй (Lii Gui) 'Flying Serpent, Hydra' (Seliksa dialect).

A piece of Mokshan heritage from everyday woman's kitchen talk.

Before, they lived in big swamps in forests, now She is inside us, the Flying Serpent Woman. They are not out there anymore, all are inside us".

P.S.: Yep, Lernaean Hydra had exactly 7 heads and was a sister of Echidna (Inekui, Great Serpent in Mokshan), mother of Gelonians (ancient Mokshas) according to Herodotus's Scythian mythology. Seliksa is known to be founded not later than 3th c AD.
Special for Dmitri Sädus: "Finnic Diseases" in European Russia in 19th c included Dracunculus medinensis, which was associated with "flying serpent" in Isaiah 30:6 and, in turn, in Babylonian contexts with Marduk's dragon, the Mushhushshu.
