Are six rounds of technical interviews …

Are six rounds of technical interviews standard?

As the title suggests, are they common? I am currently interviewing with a company for an Embedded Software Engineer position. This is a big company in the medical devices industry.

They scheduled six virtual one-hour interviews. I went prepared as much as I could.

I have finished three so far, and all 3 of them were technical. The first three were:

  • State machine problem for a household appliance. I did okay at this one.
  • Find the bugs and fix them. I did well in this round. The interviewer said that I solved the problem and, if anything, my code readability was an issue, but they didn't care about it.
  • They were two Leetcode questions, and I flubbed them very severely. I didn't solve one of them, but I explained how I would solve them.

I did answer the Embedded C questions correctly, but I feel awful about not doing well in the third round and am terrified of the remaining three rounds.

I already know the outcome of this interview, but I want to fix certain things before I try again in the future.

Is it common for all 6 to be technical interviews? I am asking to revamp my interview prep and improve in the areas I need to.

Are 5G mobile SoCs mature by now?

I just asked because everyone is saying 5G is draining their battery a whole lot more than 4G. And 6G is expected to be out at 2030, we have 5G since 2019.

What do you think?

5g IQ sample datasets

I've been pretty interested in learning more about the 5g NR protocol and some of the physical layer processing. Does anyone know a good available 5g dataset I could use to experiment and practice?
