Let's be honest for a moment. Most of the Right's talking points are just poor rehashes of punk and anarchist talking points from the 1970s and 1980s. They seem to be poignant now only because the Right has been pushed back on its heels, after abandoning politics for forty years or more. It is now trying to survive after participating in the lifeless political culture of neutralization. Whatever is said of the Left, and there is just as much wrong, they did make an effort.
Conservatism is the new punk rock only insofar as it is a defeated and ironic culture of defeat.

There is no better example of the Right being lifeless, unaesthetic, and impotent. In fact, they were the forward units of aseptic and lifeless projects of industrial neutralization.
