hi everyone, since O lvl bio paper 2 is coming up, I decided to roll out a series of mind maps for each Biology topic ^v^ (so sorry that telegram ruined the quality, I'll be posting a pdf ver on the day before so it's clearer)

these mind maps are meant to be summaries after you've finished revision as a big picture and not for you to learn concepts from scratch 😵‍💫😱 also, I used my IP3 and IP4 notes as a reference when making these, so if there are any contents not in O level syllabus, please forgive me 🙏🏻 thank you!

listening tips for eng 💃🏻

hey yalls i jst thought i’d leak my LC hacks that worked for me this prelims and pushed my grades 🆙🆙🆙 so hopefully it’ll work for yall :)

- before listening, clear your mind. you will NOT be able to focus if you go in worrying about it, so going in relaxed will definitely allow you to concentrate better on the paper
- do not, i repeat, do NOT sleep during the paper. yes it’s an afternoon paper, yes some texts might be boring. but sleeping during the paper is not going to pull up ur grades and most definitely will taint ur results. please get enough rest before the paper and huzzah ur way through
- pls take down notes during the listening! a tad bit overrated but trust me, it’s better to visualise than to memorise so if you do pen down what’s going on in the text, it helps you save some brain juice and therefore, allow you to answer the questions better ^^
- every. second. counts. did you time how long you took to read this? probably not. but i can assure you every second, millisecond, microsecond ALL makes a difference. if you even lose sight of the exam for once second you could’ve missed out something important,, especially in the last 2 passages where everything is a blur so PLEASE PAY ATTENTION
- speaking of the last two passages, i use this thing i created called lend and pen, where you lend a listening ear whilst jotting down your answers based on the text. what’s different from making notes? well for this technique curated for especially the last text where it repeats once only, i fill in the answers that are directly lifted from the passage and concurrently, make a mental note of the passage instead of physically writing it down. of course, it’s best to write it down if time permits but you never know what situation you’ll be put in :(
if there are questions i’ve missed out, i’ll rethink to what exactly the reader was trying to say and fill in an answer along those lines. cambridge is usually quite open to a variety of answers so long as it doesn’t change the meaning, so please make a wise guess and fill in accordingly !
- overthinking. i know many of us might be taking second or third guesses to the answer, esp with the many viewpoints one may consider but hey, this isn’t your personality test! most answers are straightforward and easy to deduce. for those more inferential questions, please weigh your options carefully and then pick out your answer

FIGHTING FATIGUE TIPS!
⭐️ Drink tea and nap immediately for 45mins (my favv)
⭐️ sleep early and wake up early
(I know this is super hard but you need to get into this habit so your body knows that at 7 am it needs to be active so you'll think better during the exam, trying to force this only a day before can throw off your biological clock and make you feel even sleepier sometimes!)
⭐️ have a nighttime routine
⭐️ exercise for atleast thirty mins
