? “A strong believer is better and dearer to Allah than a weak one, and both are good. Adhere to that which is beneficial for you. Keep asking Allaah for help and do not refrain from it. If you are afflicted in any way, do not say: “If I had taken this or that step, it would have resulted into such and such”, but say only:
قَدَّرَ اللَّهُ وَمَا شَاءَ فَعَلَ
Qaddara-llaahu, wa maa shaa’ fa`l
(It is the decree of Allah and what He wills He does)

Meaning don't dwell on past thinking
"I should have done this"
"I should have done that"
"If I did that this won't happen"
"If I did this that won't happen"

That is toxic and opens doors for Shaytan meaning it will depress you, it will make you think and recollect your mistakes and the pain attached with them will revisit you as well. And we know pain is poison. It can weaken the soul if we let it, devour every muscle and bone, every fiber of our being until it consumes us.

Those of us who have witnessed loss and hardships on a deeper level need to navigate through life a little differently than others who don’t have to worry about pain triggers.

You have the power to turn your pain into something beautiful in this life. You have the strength within your soul, no matter how weak you feel, to carry on and fight through this dark chapter. You have the fortitude to pull yourself out of the darkness.

Revisit past:
Only to learn lessons,
Only to learn how not to make them in future,
Only to repent and seek forgiveness,
Only to increase in good deeds that do away with bad deeds.

❝The divine decree related to the believer is always a bounty, even if it is in the form of withholding (something that is desired), and it is a blessing, even if it appears to be a trial, and an affliction that has befallen him is in reality a cure, even though it appears to be a disease!❞

Perfection In A Wife?

Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Al-Uthaymeen [D.1421 A.H.] [رحمه الله] said:

❝Indeed many husbands want their wives to be perfect. This matter is not possible, so due to that husbands fall into worry and concern and are incapable of enjoyment and delight with their wives, and perhaps this could lead to divorce.

Just like the Messenger [ﷺ] said:

«وإن ذهبت تقيمها كسرتها وكسرها طلاقها.»

'If you tried to straighten her you would break her, and breaking her is divorcing her.'

Therefore, it is necessary for the husband to be easy going and overlook everything that a wife does as long as it does not contradict the Deen or nobility.❞
