For Wellness Wednesday on the 27th November, we invited Ewan Campbell, an award winning farmer, to speak to us about eco farming.

After asking himself, "What is soil?", he was led to a number of learnings and the discovery of electricity in the soil and how to biohack it with his patented Probitas product. He then started to show others how to duplicate his award-winning methods on their own farms.

The quality of the produce improved, productivity improved, and so did the happiness and profitability of those working on the farms.

All was going well until he was stopped in his tracks - and then had to ask the question, "How did THEY have the right to do THAT?"

What followed was more learnings of a different nature. He uncovered deception and control and corporate and governmental pressure that have led us to where we are now.

The soil is fundamental. Healthy soil biome, healthy produce, healthy us, sustainability, and critical thinking.

The first step in creating Community Learning Hubs is connecting like-hearted families.

It’s also a great opportunity to find out what parents are looking for and what they need. I see my role as coordinating what’s needed versus; here are my ideas. I don’t have all the answers, I just want to help create a better world.

Our next parent meet-up on on the 1st of December in Middleton, South Australia.

If you don't have children but have a skill or passion you want to share, I'd love for you to come. You might play guitar, garden, or be great at changing light globes. Whatever you love doing, sharing these life skills would be helpful (as most of us don't know them, ha). Please come. I'd love to talk to you about accumulating a skills directory to create a community calendar.

For Wellness Wednesday on the 20th of November, we welcomed Martien Jonkers, an Osteopath practicing in West Auckland who teaches post-graduate courses in Traditional Osteopathy.

Martien graduated from the European School of Osteopathy 25yrs ago. She has done years of specialisation in Biodynamic Cranial Osteopathy & has done training in Conscious Birth Preparation and Awareness Mentoring.

In this session, Martien shares her journey of the past 2 years and how Biodynamic Cranial Osteopathy works with the whole person. We touch on common conditions that osteopaths treat, as well as more complex conditions that are suited to the biodynamic osteopathic approach.
