World-renowned Dutch lutenist and avant-garde composer Jozef van Wissem is performing in Armenia for the first time! Experimental, lo-fi, baroque, medieval, and South Caucasian musical traditions — all in one unique concert.

On October 13, Jozef van Wissem, a musical collaborator of Jim Jarmusch and a Cannes Festival award-winner for the soundtrack to the vampire drama Only Lovers Left Alive, will perform alongside adepts of the region's traditional music:
Mar Margaryan (Armenia): a musician and vocalist playing the kanon, known for her performances in various genres and bands, including The Bambir.
Ben Wheeler (USA/Georgia): an experimental composer and ethnomusicologist playing the choghur, saz, and pontic lyra. His works blend local folk traditions with electronics, feedback, and lo-fi aesthetics.

On October 13, the world-famous Dutch lutenist Jozef van Wissem will perform in Armenia for the first time. Known for his collaborations with Jim Jarmusch and award-winning score for the Only Lovers Left Alive, van Wissem will perform alongside outstanding musicians representing a modern touch to the traditional music of the region:
Mar Margaryan (Armenia): musician and vocalist, performing on the kanon, known for playing in various genres and bands, including The Bambir;
