Israeli occupation forces have wiped off entire areas in Gaza to establish the former Netzarim military base. The destruction has affected several neighborhoods, including Al-Zahraa, Tal Al-Hawa, parts of Al-Nuseirat, and sections of Al-Zaytoun. The large-scale demolition has led to widespread displacement and devastation in the Strip.

PCOM Condemns US President Trump's Call for Gaza Occupation

The Palestinian Cultural Organization Malaysia (PCOM) strongly condemns and rejects the recent statements made by US President Donald Trump regarding the potential occupation of the Gaza Strip by the United States and the displacement of the Palestinian people. These remarks are seen as a blatant attack on the rights of our people and a harmful escalation that undermines efforts for stability in the region.

We firmly believe that the Palestinian people, alongside their allies and supporters, will not tolerate any foreign force attempting to occupy our land or impose any form of guardianship. Our struggle to reclaim our land and establish a Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital is a just cause for which we have sacrificed immensely, shedding blood for decades.

We call on President Trump and the US administration to retract these reckless statements, which not only defy international law but also disregard the fundamental rights of the Palestinian people to live freely on their own land.

Furthermore, we urge the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and the United Nations to take immediate action to stop this hateful, arrogant colonial mentality at its limit.

Malaysia has been a consistent voice of support for Palestine in its struggle for freedom, justice, and liberation. In light of President Trump's dangerous rhetoric, we call upon the Malaysian government to take a firm stand against such plans and publicly reject any attempt to undermine Palestinian sovereignty. Malaysia, as a strong advocate for justice and international law, has a critical role in opposing such aggressive moves. We urge the Malaysian leadership to join the global call for a unified stance against any foreign occupation of Palestinian land and to continue supporting the rightful demands of the Palestinian people for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.
