17/11/2024: Pillaiyar

Om Trimk Ganapathiye Namaha:

Details about Trimukha Ganapati are mentioned in authoritative texts, specifically as one of the many forms of Vinayaka (Ganesha). Trimukha Ganapati is a unique form of Vinayaka with three faces.

In authoritative texts, Trimukha Ganapati is considered the embodiment of inner wisdom, strength, and balance. Since the three faces look in different directions, he is believed to rule over all directions.

The worship of Trimukha Ganapati is considered important in various rituals, as it is believed that he grants wisdom, wealth, and peace to his devotees. This form plays a significant role in yoga, meditation, and spiritual practices.

"Accepting is pleasure" : God's voice (Part four)

Four Yajanam (he) remaining to go to Athyayanam and Athyapanam in his own profession, Yajanam (doing yagam to the poor), Donation (giving), Prathikraham (taking donation). Expenditure in yajana and donation, but no earnings. Dakshinai will be available in doing Yagam to others; Dignity can be obtained in Prathikraham too. But, there's an important thing to notice here too. Usually keeping "accepting is pleasure" and also scared that the sin of the giver while receiving donation will also come to the receiver! He has scared me with a big list of efforts to get another donation from Inan. No one else scared, Brahmin himself scared and wrote in the scriptures. The great Chraudis want to be the master of Yagna and get the benefit of Yagna, but they don't want to do it to another and get less Takshi than this benefit. Yajanam' is the duty of Brahmins, they will spend the Dakshinai in it for some good deed.
So, even if we say six businesses, there is no place for Adhyayanam, Yajanam, Donation. Earned restrictions on yajana and prathikraham. The only blessed Teaching can give a lot of reasonable income, but they have made it differently to protect its divineness and not to carry it with income perspective
When the teacher accepts it without asking, even here the teachers are accepting Dakshinai instead of thinking that the disciple has 'learned', they are accepting Dakshinai only when they are satisfied with themselves that the disciple has given Dakshinai. Coming in "Pruhadaranyaka" (Upanisha) (Fourth Chapter, First Brahmin): Yajjavalkyar performed as every advice, Janagar starts performing Sambavan to him every standard. But Yajjavalkyaro says, "It is my father's opinion not to buy Dakshinai without teaching fully" and refuses to accept Dakshinai again and again

Vasudev Kutumbkam (वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्) is a Sanskrit phrase that means "the world is one family". It is found in ancient Hindu texts such as the Maha Upanishad and the Hitopadesha, which are part of the Panchatantra tales. The phrase conveys the idea of universal brotherhood and compassion for all living beings.

The Panchatantra tales are a collection of fables and stories that teach moral lessons and practical wisdom. They are attributed to Vishnu Sharma, a sage who lived around the 3rd century BCE. The tales are divided into five books, each with a different theme and a frame story. The stories feature animals, humans, gods, and demons as characters, and often have a humorous and witty tone.

One of the stories that illustrates the concept of Vasudev Kutumbkam is the story of the four friends and the lion. In this story, four friends, a mouse, a crow, a deer, and a tortoise, live happily in a forest. They share a bond of friendship and help each other in times of need. One day, the deer gets caught in a hunter's net, and the other three friends come to his rescue. They manage to free the deer and escape from the hunter. However, they also attract the attention of a hungry lion, who decides to chase them. The friends use their intelligence and teamwork to outsmart the lion and save themselves. The story ends with the moral that friendship is stronger than any enemy, and that one should treat all living beings as one's own family.
These stories are meant as an entertaining educational aid for children, and their popularity has carried them to distant places across Asia and Europe. It is important to note that there fables impart values that are pragmatic and contextual, as opposed to high philosophy.

In these stories the phrase is used in both ways - to advocate harmony towards others and also to advocate vigilance and suspicion towards those one does not fully understand. The moral of the story depends on the context. If one is operating from a position of power over others, and those others have good intentions, then the message is to include them with mutual respect. On the other hand, if one is ignorant of others' intentions, or one is operating out of weakness, then such behaviour is seen as a mark of foolishness. It is by no means a blanket statement of an unconditional welcome as is often made out in popular usage.

In one story in the Hitopadesh, a cunning jackal, trying to create a place for himself in the home of a native deer says, 'vasudhaiva kutumbakam' in his appeal to the deer. The deer ignores warnings from other animals, who caution that it is unwise to trust someone at face value without first ascertaining his history, nature, and intent, Upon deceitfully acquiring the deer's trust and moving in his home, the opportunistic jackal later tries to get the deer killed. Indeed the moral of the story is that one must watch out for cunning subversives. Blindly trusting those who preach 'universal brotherhood' can lead to self-destruction.

1. Gopashtami
2. Srila Dhananjaya Pandit disappearance
3. Srila Gadadhar Das Goswami disappearance
4. Shri Shrinivas Acharya disappearance
🌺🌸🌼🌷🌺🌸🌼🌷🌺🌸🌼

1. Gopashtami
It is stated in the _Kārttika-māhātmya_ section of the Padma Purāṇ:

_śuklāṣṭamī kārttike tu_
_smṛtā gopāṣṭamī budhaiḥ_
_tad-dinād vāsudevo 'bhūd_
_gopaḥ pūrvaṁ tu vatsapaḥ_

"The eighth lunar day of the bright fortnight of the month of Kārttik is known by authorities as Gopāṣṭamī. From that day, Lord Vāsudev served as a cowherd, whereas previously He had tended the calves."

Krishna practically demonstrated how to protect the cows. At least people who are in Krishna consciousness should follow in His footsteps and give all protection to the cows. Cows are worshiped not only by the demigods. Krishna Himself worshiped the cows on several occasions, especially on the days of Gopashtami and Govardhan-puja.

2. Srila Dhananjay Pandit disappearance
He was present during Mahaprabhu's sankirtana pastimes in Navadvipa. After returning from Vrindavan, he also worshipped the deities at Jalandigram.

"Dhananjaya Pandit was a very rare soul. Nityananda Prabhu was always present in his heart."
[Chaitanya-Bhagavat: Antya 5.733]

*✨3. Srila Gadadhar Das Goswami disappearance*
He was a very confidential associate of Sri Sri Gaur-Nityanand. In Gaur-ganoddesa-dipika it is stated that he is an incarnation of the effulgence of Srimati Radharani's body, as well as an expansion of Purnanand gopi.

He spent some time in Navadwipa, taking care of Saci Mata and Visnupriya, but after their disappearance he came to live at Katwa, where Mahaprabhu had accepted _sannyas_ from Keshav Bharati.

4. Shri Shrinivas Acharya disappearance
Sri Srinivas Acharya is one of the chief Vaishnava teachers in the generation immediately following Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. His parents, Gangadhar Bhattacharya and Lakshmi Priya lived in the village of Chakhandi, in Burdwan district of Bengal.

Sri Srinivas Acharya studied under the famed Dhananjaya Vidyavachaspati, who taught him all branches of Vedic learning, including religion, logic, poetry, political science, grammar and Ayurveda.
