"Imagine for a moment that we in Germany could put aside all ideology and politics: We would invite technology leaders like Huawei to help us modernize our mobile network instead of excluding them from it; we would invite electric car manufacturers like BYD and NIO to help us achieve our goals for the mobility transition instead of imposing tariffs on them; we would invite digital platforms like Alibaba to help our small and medium-sized businesses diversify their supply chains instead of advising caution against them. We could even invite China Railways to help us get Deutsche Bahn back to the punctuality and speed we used to be accustomed to. Don't you think that the people in Germany would be better off than today and we could concentrate again on being a country of ideas, a country of research and a country of innovation? So much could be possible."

I of course agree with every word he said. Like China learned from the West, it's obvious that the West too has more and more to learn from China.
