Albert Bourla, CEO of Pfizer and the team "made this very difficult decision" to produce a product with mRNA technology. But when the time came, he delayed because he didn't want to "cut the line".

He first ridiculed anyone that might hesitate taking it in September 2020. Then when the time came in December that same year, he didn't want to "cut the line". Finally the truth drops in March '22 that "the mRNA was a technology that we had less experience [with]".
