? امروز میخوام راجع به یکی از تاپیکهایی که جدیدا خیلی در Speaking استفاده میشه صحبت کنم: ????

Describe a tourist attraction that very few people visit, but you think it is interesting.

• What place it is
• Where it is
• Why it is interesting
• Why it is not visited by many people.

? خب من باید بتونم این که این tourist attraction هم خیلی زیباست و هم تاحدودی ناشناخته هست رو با لغات یا اصطلاحات مختلف بگم. پس اگه فقط یه جایی رو توصیف کنید که زیباست ولی راجع به ناشناخته بودنش حرفی نزنید، یه قسمتی از سوال رو miss کردین. ?

? چند تا لغت و اصطلاح خوب براش یاد نگیریم؟؟?

• A hidden gem: گوهر ناشناخته
• Unfrequented: visited only rarely.
• Untouristed: rarely visited by tourists

میخوام یه کانال Youtube بسازم و فکر میکنم که نظراتتون میتونه بهم خیلی کمک کنه. شما بعنوان یک English Learner فکر میکنید به چه موضوع، مبحث یا اسکیلی خیلی پرداخته نشده؟

*⭕️ Vicinity vs. Neighborhood*

*? این دو تا کلمه neighborhood ( neighbourhood) و vicinity از جمله کلماتی هست که خیلی وقتها بچه ها رو به اشتباه میندازه و فکر میکنم دلیلش مترادف فارسی هست که براشون پیشنهاد میشه. من جای شما بودم این کلمات رو تو جمله یاد میگرفتم تا اینکه دنبال ترجمه فارسیش بگردم. ?***

*? چندتا مثال با هم بخونیم*:

? There are several schools in the vicinity of our house.
?The library is in the vicinity of the town center.
? We couldn't find any restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

✍? از جمله های بالا میشه فهمید که vicinity یعنی 'دور و اطراف جایی'. مثلا جمله اول میگه دور و اطراف خونمون یا در نزدیکی خونمون چند تا مدرسه هست. یا درجمله دوم منظورش نزدیکای مرکز شهر هست. جمله آخر هم که میخواد بگه همین دور و اطراف رستورانی نیست.

?My neighborhood has a lot of friendly people.
? There are many parks in my neighborhood.
? The neighbourhood has changed a lot since we were kids.

✍? و اماااااا neighborhood! اون ترجمه ای که براش میدونین رو بزارین کنار تا بهتون بگم. Neighborhood یعنی محله! جمله ها رو بخونید... اولی میگه محله ما آدمهای صمیمی و خونگرم زیادی داره. دومی میخواد بگه که تو محلشون پارک زیاده. سومی هم میگه این محله از وقتی که ما بچه بودیم تا الان خیلی تغییر کرده. پسسسسسس neighborhood لزوما جایی که ما زندگی میکنیم نیست... میتونه باشه میتونه نباشه. ?

*⭕️ Lady-like ??‍♀️***

*?زبان انگلیسی یه ترکیباتی داره که من شخصا عاشقشونم... یکیش همین استفاده از like هست بعنوان suffix البته. ?***

مثلا میخوام بگم سطح اون دریاچه مثل آینه بود:
*?️mirror-like
• The surface of the lake was mirror-like*, reflecting the surrounding mountains and the sky.

رفتارهاش خیلی خانومانس:
?️Lady-like
• At the formal dinner, she exhibited lady-like behavior, speaking softly and using impeccable manners throughout the evening.

مثل بچه ها صادقه:( معنیش مثبته)
?️ Her honesty is child-like.

اگر بخواین چیزی رو توصیف کنید که نمیدونید چیه! به عنوان مثال میگین 'جنسش یه چیزی شبیه کاغذ بود'.
?️It was something paper-like.

توی اون لیوان یه چیزی شبیه ژله بود:
*?️ There was something jelly-like*.

*? و خب خیلی like های دیگه که میتونید بسازید به شرطی که خیلی عجیب غریب نباشه دیگه!*

? سلام بچه ها... امیدوارم حال دلتون خوب باشه.

از اتاق فرمان خبر دادن که گویا دوباره آزمونهای آیلتس قراره از ۲۰ تیر برگزار نشه. ??‍♀️?

امیدوارم اینم مثل قبلی موقتی باشه. 

انگار قشنگ سوار roller coaster هستیم و خیلیم عالی...

*⭕️ Psychologically speaking...*

? قبلا راجع به اینکه چطور بگیم 'از لحاظ' صحبت کردم و یه پست مفصل راجع به استفاده از '...-wise' گذاشته بودم. (اگر یادتون نمیاد کلمه wise  رو در کانال سرچ کنید و پستش رو حتما بخونید.)?

دیروز سر یکی از کلاسها یه ریدینگ میزدیم که توش پر از 'از لحاظ' با ساختارهای متفاوت بود و چون بچه ها با ساختارش آشنا نبودن خب درک مطلب رو سخت کرده بود.

? این جمله ها که براتون این پایین میارم هر کدوم یه 'از لحاظ' داره ولی با ساختارهای متفاوت:??????

• Money-wise, I'm doing okay this month, but last month was tough.
از لحاظ مالی این ماه اوکیم ولی ماه پیش ماه سختی بود.

• Economically, the country is experiencing a recession due to high unemployment rates.
از لحاظ اقتصادی، کشور با یک رکود مواجه هست که بدلیل نرخ بالای بیکاریه.

• From a psychologyical point of view, his misbehavior can be explained by past trauma.
از لحاظ روانشناسی، رفتارهاش بدش به دلیل ترامایی هست که در گذشته تجربه کرده.

*?*?? Ways to say 'az lahaze' ?**

• ...-wise (education-wise, safety-wise)
• From .... point of view (from a technical point of view)
• From a .... standpoint (from a technical standpoint)
• Adverbs (economically, financially, ...)
• Looking at it through a ... lens ( looking at it through a cultural lens)

⭕️ New Writing Topic, May 2024

? این تاپیک writing یکی از بچه ها برای هفته پیش بوده. یه مقدار ظاهرش با تاپیکهای همیشگی فرق میکرد ( یه جورایی طولانی تره) گفتم باهاتون share کنم. مدل نوشتنش هیچ فرقی با همون همیشگی ها نمیکنه.... فقط اینکهkey word هاش بیشتره و فقط باید راجع به advantage هاش صحبت کنید.

To what extent do you believe societies gain advantages from the enhanced contact and stronger relationships with individuals from other countries, facilitated by international business and tourism?
