I'm not gonna explain the context and stuff cuz those are more personal la but

There's an art in letting go tbh. And facing that reality makes me braver and more willing to be like: yep this shit ain't worth it. I'm still a little heartbroken(?) but I think I've reached acceptance abt it already. Also mad grateful for the people who rly stuck things through with me.

That's the most important I think. Find the people who'll stick it through.

Another honest rant ahead...(pls share to your own channels if you can!)

To those who are feeling lonely in school, believe me when I say that I am also a loner in school. I usually say hi and bye to a few friends and that's probably it.

To those who feel that they are the outcast in the class, I also feel the same way. But we cannot change the past, and we can only fix the present.

Was talking to a friend on how she tried to find happiness despite not fitting in to the school environment, and she told me that she tried to appreciate the simple things in life. I really appreciate simplistic people who can treat simple things with appreciation and gratitude.

Now here's the survival-in-JC "cheatcode" if you're feeling lonely (well, it's hard to escape loneliness, everyone faces it)

1. Expand on your current friendships instead of growing your social circle

Friends are still of value, even if it's just 1 or 2 good friends. in my 9 months of JC, I only made around 5-6 good friends? But I still became appreciative of the opportunities that I had, and always used my effort and energy to grow in these friendships instead of forging new ones that don't even seem promising.

1. Love yourself.

Exercise. Listen to your favourite artist. Do your favourite hobby. Literally anything that helps you kill time and enjoy what you love. Don't change your character for others, because you will only hurt yourself even more. It doesn't matter if others also enjoy what you enjoy. Just put your own well-being first! 🥇🏆

1. (this is quite a subjective point)

For those people who are aiming for highly competitive courses like medicine, law or computer sci, take the time to focus on your VIAs and studies. Of course it's good to make friends and expand your social circle, but if you really dream of something you enjoy, please devote your time to your passion. Your friends can only help so much until the A Levels and university admissions.

1. Your parents!

They are still important people in your lives. Please put them FIRST in your lives no matter what, they have loved you since the beginning and you must love them back! (At this point it shouldn't even be a debatable issue)

JC life is fun when you know how to approach it well. Learn how to develop the correct type of friendships, manage your time well and do your best in everything you do. All the best! 💯💪

Best to number your bullets. It's really about clarity, be neat, be clear.
Do not, I repeat, do not write an essay.

2) My personal VPA method I teach my students:
V- Variables
Identify your independent, dependent and controlled variables at the start

P - Procedures
Answer 3 questions
i) How to measure independent variable
ii) How to measure dependent variable
iii) How to vary independent variable
For iii, where possible, state the 6 different values (i.e. provide the values needed).

A - Analysis
Plot graph of DV against IV
May need to sketch
May not be straight line (year 2020)
May be more than one graph (year 2022)

Safety and accuracy, pls read the requirements of the planning. Question will state.
Make sure each point is answered.
Again... in point form, not in continuous prose.
No grandfather grandmother story please.

Remember that illegible handwriting will be ignored. This is not school marking, you aren't able to argue for marks. If the examiner cannot read, it will be marked wrong.
