*? We Launched Kreatli on Product Hunt ?*

We've officially launched on Product Hunt: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/kreatli ???

Please go ahead and vote for us (I sound like a presidential candidate ?). Also, feel free to leave a comment or ask questions - I will definitely reply to all of them.

Obviously, the "dream" of every startup founder is to get a "Product of the Day/Week/Month" Badge from PH and put it on the website. I would not say that it's THE dream for me personally, however it will certainly bring a lot of traffic to the platform and perhaps get the attention of some of the creators.

In any event, this launch is extremely important for us, so we would truly appreciate the help ?

If you have any questions/remarks/thoughts - go ahead and share them here in the comments or simply dm me.

Have a wonderful day wherever you are ?

Yours Sincerely,
George ✌️**

Here we go: We’ve been waiting for it for a long time (at least I’ve been)

Enjoy and let me know what you think???

Millions of people have been signing up and sharing content on Telegram in the last hour while Instagram and Facebook were down. Interestingly, Telegram is more reliable than these services — despite spending several times less on infrastructure per user.

We also have about 1000 times (!) fewer full-time employees than Meta, but manage to launch new features and innovate faster.

Throughout 2023, Telegram was unavailable for a total of only 9 minutes out of the year’s 525,600 minutes. That’s a 99.999983% uptime ?

That’s my guys - he definitely knows how to be bragging without being too obvious ?

*? Kreatli Launch: We Are Finally Life ?***
It's been a long time since we spoke, guys, and it's totally my fault. I've been caught up in so many things over the past 3-4 months that I don't even know where to start.

However, important news first: as you've probably guessed already, we've finally launched Kreatli MVP 1.0 - huge milestone.

If you stop and think for a sec, we've been working on it for a year now. A YEAR! Obviously, we were working mostly on weekends and after our 9-5 jobs, but still, a big chunk of time passed given that this is only an MVP 1.0.

I am not trying to criticize myself here (ok, perhaps a bit); I believe we did our best with the resources we had. So congrats to us ?

Since this is a very niche product and it is not gonna be relevant for the majority of you guys, please feel free to invite YouTube Creators that you know who are looking for any kind of professionals: video editors, thumbnail designers, voiceover artists, social media specialists, etc.

On the same note, if you are an aforementioned professional or know such, please go ahead and create an account or refer a friend - it would help us enormously to grow the initial user base to get the ball rollin' ?

It is quite hard to get momentum while growing such a marketplace as Kreatli organically - so we would really appreciate any help. Thanks a lot, guys ❤️

I know it is unfair to ask you for any favors given the consistency of my appearance here. I won't promise that I am gonna be posting regularly, as I did in the past.

I am definitely gonna be sharing Kreatli's progress and some other personal stuff here; however, for whose who are looking for a consistent Telegram channel, unfortunately, you won't find it here anymore ?**
All in all, an exciting journey ahead, happy to be here in one boat with those who stay, and no hard feelings for those who left.

All aboard! ⚓️

? Why I left PlayPlay? ?

It’s been 2 weeks since I left PlayPlay and I have to admit - I was quite tired during my time there.

It’s not nessecarily a bad thing, it’s simply a sign that I and the whole team were working extremely hard to conquer the German makret.

I am not gonna go into all the little details why I left, but here are some reasons + learnings:

  1. Choose your mananger carefully

  2. Ask for clear and transparent expectations

  3. Estimate level of expertise and engagement of the team

  4. Adress conflict or missunderstanding immediately

☝️The Truth about Doing Great Work☝️

If I could remember only 3 passages from this essay, I would choose these:

  1. “Yes, you'll have to work hard. But again, lots of people have to work hard. And if you're working on something you find very interesting, which you necessarily will if you're on the right path, the work will probably feel less burdensome than a lot of your peers."

  2. “It's not necessarily a bad sign if work is a struggle, any more than it's a bad sign to be out of breath while running. It depends on how fast you're running. So learn to distinguish good pain from bad. Good pain is a sign of effort; bad pain is a sign of damage."

  3. ”People who do great work are not necessarily happier than everyone else, but they're happier than they'd be if they didn't. In fact, if you're smart and ambitious, it's dangerous not to be productive. People who are smart and ambitious but don't achieve much tend to become bitter."
That wraps up this series of posts from Paul Graham’s essay. I hope it was helpful!

Paul Graham on Importance of Curiosity

Curiosity is the best guide.
Your curiosity never lies, and it knows more than you do about what's worth paying attention to.

It's not enough just to be curious, and you can't command curiosity anyway. But you can nurture it and let it drive you.

Curiosity is the key to all four steps in doing great work: it will choose the field for you, get you to the frontier, cause you to notice the gaps in it, and drive you to explore them. The whole process is a kind of dance with curiosity.

?‍?Paul Graham on Finding Great Colleagues?‍?

Seek out the best colleagues.
There are a lot of projects that can't be done alone, and even if you're working on one that can be, it's good to have other people to encourage you and bounce ideas off of.

Colleagues don't just affect your work, though; they also affect you. So work with people you want to become like, because you will.

Quality is more important than quantity in colleagues. It's better to have one or two great ones than a building full of pretty good ones.
