I came to realize that peace of mind isn't about having no problems and worries or a perfect life, but about accepting whatever life throws at you and having confidence in your ability to handle life's challenges.

So probably living the most peaceful phase of my life...

*The bar chart provides data on how much doctors and other workers earned on average in seven distinct countries in 2004.

Overall, doctors in countries thereof received considerably bigger annual pay than the rest of workers. It is also apparent that the USA took the lead with the highest figures for both categories.

Three countries, namely the USA, Switzerland and France recorded relatively higher pay rates. While doctors earned roughly $125,000 in a year, other workers were paid merely $50,000. Although the yearly payment of doctors in Switzerland and France averaged at almost $70,000 each, that of other employees varied, with the former country registering virtually $40,000 and the latter $30,000.

Focusing on the remaining countries, the figure for Finnish doctors amounted to $50,000, which was twice as much as that for other workers. Of particular note were the payments of other workers in Italy, Czech Republic and Germany, which displayed the same figures of about $20,000. Meanwhile, doctors in Czech Republic earned roughly $65,000, with those in Germany and Italy doing so less, at around $60,000.*

The urge to escape to a place where no one can find you ...

P.s. having a stroll for the past two hours, yet couldn't find a place to escape and hide ?

A few weeks ago, I had a deep conversation with one of my friends where I shared some of my recent realizations. I've currently come to understand that I've been living in a constant state of fight or flight for the past five years, always taking on every responsibility, planning ahead (Interestingly enough, I've always had back-up plans for my plan As?), creating different scenarios and preparing for the worst or being afraid of hurting others and always caring about their feelings, which was of course, mentally draining. I've basically neglected my own needs and wants for a few years and tried to turn off my emotions and pretended to be "an emotionless lady", reckoning this is the sole way to control them. However, now I've reached a point where I simply don't wanna care about anything or anyone, nor take on any responsibilities. But guess what? I simply can't help being me: still creating chaos and various scenarios in my mind. Well, it's probably part of being human. At the end of the day, nobody is perfect.

Equality* refers to treating everyone the same, without regard to individual differences or circumstances. It's about giving everyone equal opportunities and resources.
Equity*, on the other hand, acknowledges that people have different circumstances and needs, so it involves distributing resources and opportunities based on fairness and addressing those differences.
In essence, equality aims for fairness through sameness, while equity aims for fairness through justice and inclusion.
