Threshold Network is a decentralized network of nodes that secure a wrapped version of BTC - called TBTC - on EVM compatible chains

Unlike WBTC, which relies on centralized custodians to store user deposits and issue wrapped tokens, TBTC uses a network of independent nodes to verify deposits and ensure TBTC's value. By leveraging the benefits of threshold cryptography, they're able to distribute operations across the entire network, thereby eliminating single points of failure.

The result is a permissionless BTC bridge that allows anyone to easily move tokens between Bitcoin and Ethereum without relying any centralized intermediaries

As many of you know, we are planning to begin rollout out our "Chronos V2" upgrade today, July 17th, 2023.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, portions of this upgrade will need to be delayed. Some of our V2 contracts, including our concentrated liquidity pools, are going to require further testing before they can be released publicly. While we realize these delays are disappointing, we have decided that this is the best course of action at this time. It is important to us that all contracts are 100% tested to ensure their security and functionality prior to release; we feel it is better to delay the release to ensure everything works properly from day one than to try to rush things and potentially put user funds at risk.

We will still be releasing a partial update tomorrow that will include:

✅ New UI/UX
✅ New order types (Limit and TWAP) (via Orbs)
✅ Elimination of the "dust" problem for traders and liquidity providers
✅ Improved order routing and inverse routing (via ParaSwap)
✅ New charts and analytics

The following features will not be released tomorrow, but will be added in the near future:

❌ New V2 maturity curve/contracts
❌ Concentrated Liquidity pools
❌ Concentrated Liquidity management (via Dyson)

Chronians! On June 30th (tomorrow) Chronos becomes the first ve(3,3) DEX to launch their own dedicated fNFT marketplace.

As the first phase of our "Chronos V2" rollout, the marketplace will support veNFTs and chrNFTs at launch. Support for maNFTs will follow soon after, on July 17th, with the release of the new maNFT contracts.

⏳ The NFT trade is a crucial part of the Chronos economy. By making it easier for users to buy, sell, and trade financial NFTs directly from the Chronos UI, we're taking a huge step in fulfilling our long-term vision for Chronos.

?? Users will be able to trade chrNFT’s, veCHR’s at a 0% market commission in a secure way, thanks to our SVG Dynamic NFT Images as you will be able to see data such as veCHR position value or time locked.

? But… What about MANFt’s?
This are going to be live as soon as the new upgrade contracts are live, this will be detailed below, now users will be able to see the maturity level among other things in a more visual way once trading this positions.

Why is this taking longer than expected?
The question is really simple, we have innovated creating a new technology, the Maturity Adjusted Positions, as this was never created before, it has been really difficult for our Smart Contract Developers and top tier one’s from several enterprises to do it, in fact, some of them even said it was impossible!

? But here we are, thanks to the collaboration of our Smart Contract’s development team with Aegas (https://aegas.io/), we have finally finished the new MA Contracts!

? We are currently on the process of Auditing them and making a Bug Bounty Program, as you already know, our users security is our top priority.

This new contract was a must in the upgrade to UNI V3 Concentrated Liquidity solution, now that we have it, we are finalizing the integration of this Concentrated Liquidity with the help of Sphere (https://sphere.finance/) and his top tier Liquidity Management project Dyson (https://dyson.money/).

This new updates do not come alone, we have been working on a new redesigned Chronos V2 UI, with a much better UX, design and new functionalities such as the possibility of making Limit Orders & TWAP’s powered by Orbs (https://www.orbs.com/).

? With the new MA Contracts implemented, users will also be able to split and merge different level MANFT’s and also avoid potential lose of rewards while doing so, as we will also remove the 1 week waiting period for claiming the rewards.

This new UI comes with some cool ZAP features in which users are now able to provide liquidity rebalancing both tokens in a quick and secure manner, another priority was solving the dust issue we've been fighting for so long, that will finally be completely erradicated, improving the overall UX.

We have also changed our router provider to Paraswap (https://paraswap.io/) improving our rates while swapping and adding new functionalities such as the Inverse Route, a user can now input how much of a token he wants to receive while swapping and can see what’s the route his order is going through thanks to the new Order Path SVG.
Crypto historical chart will also be implemented to allow users see the price of a token pair.

We're pleased to announce Chronos's newest listing - rETH from Rocket Pool! :rocketpool:

Rocket Pool is one of the biggest names in liquid staking tokens (LSTs) with over 400,000 $ETH staked. Users can deposit as little as 0.01 ETH to receive rETH, an LSD that accrues staking rewards over time. Rocket Pool's decentralized network of node operators uses the deposited ETH to help secure Ethereum's POS network.

As part of this collaboration, Rocket Pool will be directing incentives to the rETH/WETH VAMM pair on Chronos, providing an easy way for rETH holders to generate additional yield on their holdings!
